Close but no cigar!
I attended a conference during the day while my college aged daughter explored the area. In the afternoons/evenings, we played tourist together. Our upgraded room was alright with a few exceptions. The toilet did not flush completely the first and sometimes even the second time. We could hear our neighbors' television and toilet flush. The closet had lots of hangers but having a drawer or two would have been nice.

the best of denver!
we love to walk in the big cities that we visit and this hotel was perfect for that. out the door and a block later put us on the 16th street mall ....a street much like nyc's times square. places to eat, shop, sightsee, etc. we walked to the baseball game but you can ride a bus free of charge down 16th street and be within a few blocks of the game. the state capitol and denver museum are with a stone's throw of the hotel. the historic brown palace hotel is connected by a breezeway and it is a beautiful hotel to sightsee complete with memorabilia in the lobby. the breakfast is second to none at the hotel. the staff is beyond belief accomodating and was so very nice. the rooms were perfect. the beds were a welcome treat after a long day of sightseeing. restaurants and fastfood all within walking distance. i never write reviews but this hotel deserved one. thank you comfort inn downtown for a most wonderful stay in denver. ps. we took the supershuttle to and from airport. perfect!

Very Central location
We came to Denver for Pride. The Motel was central to most pride events which was nice. The only concern I had was where they parked my car. We paid 22 a day for the staff to park our car in a very unsafe location.

A great nite in Denver, CO
Denver is a great city to visit. The Museum of Natural History definitely deserves a visit if you're into fossils. Don't forget to try some of the Rocky Mtn. Oysters and if you're a beer fan try the Milk Stout by Left Hand Brewery. As for this hotel, the Comfort Inn deserves much praise. Located across the street from the historic Brown Palace Hotel, much of what you'll need is close enough via walking or talking the free mall bus.

Comfort Inn Downtown
Attended a conference in Denver. The good thing was that the hotel was very accessible and right in the heart of Denver Downtown. However, the room was a little small, as compared to my expectations. Facilities were fine, but very basic. Positives: clean, regular housekeeping, internet and breakfast Negatives: walls are very thin, and you can hear the next room and the toilet flushes from the next rooms make a loud noise; breakfast was the exact same every day of the 3 nights I stayed, but that is not too much of a negative, I agree

Terrific location, just one block
Terrific location, just one block from the 16th Avenue mall where there is a free mall bus. Lots of restaurants nearby, and at the Brown Palace opposite in the Ship's Tavern you get a discount on your meal.
