Past experiences with this BWestern have been good. This time both bed linens were old and pilling. On one bed, the linens appeared dingy or almost dirty. Will rethink places to stay in Denver.

Just Okay
Room had heat blasting in, hallways were like a sauna - room was small but clean. We had windows open and air on and its December! Breakfast was not good - even for free I wouldn't eat it. I was only there for business not pleasure - price was good and that is why I choose this hotel.

Don't stay here!!!
-The shuttle guy who picked me up from the airport didn't help me with my bags. -I didn't have any hot water when I took a shower the next morning. -The whole hotel appears dated and dirty. -Breakfast was nothing to write home about. -Stay somewhere else, there are plenty of better options in Denver!

Great Value in the Stapleton Area
I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the meeting I was attending. I had stayed at the Renaissance (the Best Western is next door) two years ago and was familiar with the local amenities across the street - great restaurants and shopping, but wanted a less expensive room cost. The hotel is 17 miles from the airport, but a straight shot and only a 30 minute ride on I-70. Although a shuttle was available, we rented a car. The hotel had been recently remodeled and was in very good condition. The room was clean and the bathroom up-to-date with granite counters and nice tile floors. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room cost included a free hot breakfast; free wifi in the room; free business center access (no cost for printing), and on-site laundry room. We had a room on the road (Quebec is a busy street) but did not hear any traffic noise. There were 3 of us in the room, yet only $10 for the two nights was added to our nightly base rate of $82 (making the cost $84.50 per night). The only caveat - if you are driving, know that the exit will put you past the driveway entry to the parking lot. You will either have to take the first side street to the right and circle around, right, right and right again to Quebec or go to the light turn left and then left at the next light and left back onto Quebec. Stayed October 2011, traveled on business

In town briefly to attend a seminar. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Very responsive and friendly. The accommodations were comfortable and clean and breakfast in the morning was a pleasant bonus. Overall it was a very positive experience.

No car rental = great choice
Free shuttle to/from the airport and to/from the zoo (just a couple miles away) made it very worth it for us. Saved a lot on car rental. The airport shuttles run frequently (we didn't even have to wait for one), but the shuttles around town are every 90 minutes or so, so it may not work for everyone. Compared to the downtown hotels, this was not romantic or in a fun location, but free parking, wi-fi, breakfast and shuttles make it a very good value. This was pretty much your average mid-range hotel. Clean and comfortable enough, average free breakfast, close to the interstate in a decent area. Looked like they had tried to remodel/update a bit, so the furniture and carpeting was newer and modern style, but still pretty inexpensive looking. No big deal. Front desk was a mixed bag of characters, as were the guests. But, we didn't hear a lot of outside noise from inside our room so we slept well. Great choice if you are looking to save money/not rent a car. We ate at the family Mexican restaurant next door and it was good--good margaritas and very friendly service.

Avoid if possible!
I have never been so grateful to leave a hotel or city in my life! The AAA rating needs to be seriously updated; it must have been rated on opening day somtime in the 1970's. It is run down, it stinks like stale smoke, the employees are unfriendly when they actually acknowledge you, the room was soooo NOT clean, and the whole place has a cheap, sleezy aura about it, especially the front lobby. The pictures on the web site should be labled as "What once was" because the actual building looked NOTHING like the photos. I will never go back to that hotel again! I will avoid Denver in every way possible because of that experience. We were in Denver for business and thankfully we were called home early, unfortunately it was due to the death of a dear friend. I left as quickly as humanly possible and didn't stop until I crossed the border into Wyoming.
