The Cortez-Days Inn has much to offer. Shopping is minutes away, or enjoy a round of golf at the beautiful 18-hole course.
Nestled in the heart of Mesa Verde Country, the home of the Anasazi Indians, guests have much to see while staying in the Cortez area. Mesa Verde is nine miles east, and includes the Anasazi Heritage Center, UTE Mountain Pottery, CU Center, Crow Canyon, Hovenweep and Lowery Ruins, which will stimulate the imagination as to how the ancient Indians lived.
After traveling all day, relax beside the outdoor heated pool or unwind, in either the outdoor or indoor Jacuzzi.
Other activities may include a trip to Ute Mountain Casino for a taste of Las Vegas in Colorado or a walk in the city park, where traditional Indian dances punctuate summer evenings.
This Days Inn prides itself on first-class service and attention to all guest needs.
The Fiesta Mexicana Restaurant is located on the property and offers authentic Mexican food. Please stop by and enjoy the atmosphere.
Any rooms with 2 beds excluding the Family Unit are on the second floor only.

Room was very dated. Bed was comfortable, but pillows were like rocks. TV did not work correctly as we only got 'over air' channels and no cable channels #ESPN, HBO, etc#. Desk person did come to our room and try to reprogram the but it did was
not successful. Breakfast was very minimal and fruit was canned. Would recommend with reservations.
Average experience overal. Liked the proximity to Mesa Verde National Park. Liked the refrigerator in the room. Did not like carrying 2 suitcases up the stairs to the second floor. Would be nice if there was the posibility to state a perferance in
floor level while making a reservation.
Everything was very nice except maybe that the room was just a little small and had a slight odor. My daughter was there to take a test. The room was comfortable and having the fridge, microwave, and coffee pot are nice to have.
The hotel is located at the end of town closer to Mesa Verde National Park, which makes traveling convenient. There is also a great Mexican restaurant next to the hotel. However, (and now comes the bad part), the room we stayed in had a really old
and antiquated A/C unit which kept us awake the first night (made really loud noises). We complained at the front desk, and the staff was really helpful, they replaced the A/C by the time we got back to the hotel!! The next problem was hot water, which was not hot but warm. Again, we complained and they fixed it pretty fast. Overall, I have mixed feelings about the hotel. I really enjoyed the short distance to MVNP, and the helpful staff, but I am really disappointed that they could have fixed these issues BEFORE we got the room. By the way, they have good continental breakfast (you can make fresh waffles!). The room has a refrigerator, microwave, cable tv with HBO.
