Cortez Inn

Old building, not maintained well! Carpets in hallway, old. No fan in bathroom. Extremely rattie towels. Pool, old and dirty! Hot tub was very old, warm water!

This room should have been half the price it was. The women on the front desk were wonderful but I cannot recommend anything else. There were light bulbs missing, the room reeked of bleach so that after several hours my eyes were burning and red. Things were very worn. There was a dispenser in the shower for shampoo and shower gel but it was broken and did not work. It was quiet, safe and reasonably comfortable. The continental breakfast was as basic as it could be. No fruit of any kind, just breads, waffles, cheap coffee, fruit punch and cereal. No tea or anything else. The wi fi did work OK. I would not stay there again. And the restaurant was closed down.

Quick Stay, overnight. Very restfull

We drove to the hotel, and the location was scary and no outside lighting. Not a comfortable, secure place. We went to another place because it was not as advertised on the website and want my money refunded.

It was OK on the low end of hotels - acceptable if the price is cheap.

Staff was nice enough, but the advertised on location bar and restaurant has not been open for many months. The exterior is very old. The interior is old but clean and 'adequate'. Although I noticed cereal in big containers as if there was a continental breakfast, the office was not open at 7:00 in the morning.

Was a good choice for us. We simply needed a hotel for an overnight stop on a long trip. The price was very reasonable. It is old, but well maintained and clean. The staff were very knowledgeable,professional and helpful. We would stay here again for the same purpose. The area is full wonderful tourist opportunities and this would be a good place for travelers on a budget.

The location was great but we may have picked a motel that allows pets. My son found a couple of dead fleas on the bathroom counter which made us feel very uncomfortable. The room was fine and it you just passing by for one night that would be fine, without the fleas.

Not a great neighborhood but the outside of the building looked like it had been freshly painted. Room was large and clean except for a stain on the carpet and chair seat. The room did not have the little bottles of shampoo and lotion etc which is kind of nice. Did not stay for breakfast and the pool was under construction. Ok place for the "cheap" price.

We stopped in to sleep before going on to Mesa Verde in the morning. This did accomplish that aspect. The room fridge was not plugged in when we arrived. The breakfast (as some continental breakfasts are) was in the office. I felt as if I was in someone's personal kitchen (not professional). You helped yourself to the frozen waffles in the freezer to toast. There was one juice (a tangerine mango) and cereal and toast. The people were very friendly and nice. The place caters to bikers and there was a biker bar next door with lots of loud motorcycles leaving and coming through the evening. We are fortunate to be able to afford nicer places at times but this worked as a place to sleep.
