Good stay

Our stay was good. The room and the facility was clean and met all of our needs. I would recommend for price a mostly no frills hotel with yhe exception of the pool and spa which was also clean and in good condition. The only negative thing I have to says is that we weren't given a very cordial welcome when we showed up early and tried to check in just to at least make sure we were in the right place and when we could expect to actually get in our room. The front desk clerk was very short with a negative attitude.

Day trip to Colorado

Overall the hotel was good. Breakfast was a little weak but that's okay because that was not a priority for me. The only thing I would complain about is the fitness center. I went in and each one of the machine was broken. I was looking forward to hitting the mini gym here so this was very disappointing for my guest and I.

Birthday trip to see great grand son

A great place for the kids to swim with the indoor pool but the walkways are VERY slippery and the grand daughter took a fall and the water had an odor unlike in the past. The rooms are getting tired, stool seat cracked. Great breakfast with lots of choices

Perfect Dog Show hotel

We were attending a dog show in Cortez and finding dog friendly hotels is not always easy. The hotel was accommodating to us and it was very close to the show site. Lots of grass to walk the dogs on and first floor rooms! Awesome.

Off season visit

Stayed here in January during the off season. The room was cleaned daily when I didn't sleep in. And even after I did sleep in. The staff seen me leave and the room was promptly cleaned. The indoor heated pool and hot tub were also clean and I enjoyed it multiple times. The staircases were a bit dirty, but did appear to be cleaned once or twice during my stay. Beautiful view out of my window. Within walking distance to many restaurants, liquor store, and walmart to pick up those odds and ends. Overall good experience. I would stay here again.

Great travel hotel

Big room, very large flatscreen TV, helpful staff. We take a lot of road trips and I would put this hotel at the TOP of my price/quality scale. Our adult children really liked it too.

A Welcome Relief

After a long and late day at Mesa Verde National Park, my family of 5 was relieved to find a spacious and comfortable room at this nice hotel for a fair price. With a noon checkout the following day, we were able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast and morning swim before leaving for our next destination.

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

The entrance to Mesa Verde National Park is only about 20 minutes away, but the park is large so a full day is needed there to enjoy all the scenery and historical sites. I recommend spending 2 nights in Cortez if you want to see everything, and getting to the park at least by mid-morning if you want to beat the crowds signing up for the wonderful ranger-guided tours of the Pueblo ruins.
