The natural attractions in the immediate area where what brought us here however there where several restaurants very close to this hotel.

Sufficent for price
The room didn't look like the one shown in the picture but it was clean and sufficent for what we were needing. The free breakfast was the best part.

I had to call "tech support" to access teh wi-fi internet. The desk clerk could not help me connect! I have used wi-fi at other hotels before with no problem. The desk clerk tried for over 1 hour to solve my problem. The tech support had to enter a large amount of information for me to access the wi-fi!

good college reunion base
Attended a college class reunion at Colorado College. Convenient to the campus by going three exits (and 4 miles) south on I-25 to the College. Hotel was good and servicable. Room was clean and comfy. Continental breakfast was marginal. I am used to a very nice contenintal breakfast served at the Marriot Residence Inn on Gilman Drive in La Jolla, CA, thus most anything else fails by comparison. Would consider again for a staging area for a subsequent college reunion. Reasonable price and convenient to the campus.

Pikes Peak - take the Cog Railway ($33 per adult). The drive up to the top was nerve-racking 23 years ago.

Good Location
Location is away from downtown but good access to everything. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and parking easy. The breakfast is very good so they are very busy. Get up early to get what you want. If you are a late riser then you can walk a couple of yards over to the Village Inn for a good breakfast. Staff is very friendly and helpful even though they were fully booked and very busy. One draw back the ice machine and vending just across the hall. People were getting items at 1:00 am making lots of noise. Make sure to request a room away from this area.

We had a great time in Colorado Springs! The front desk staff were great at suggesting local micro breweries so we could eat like the locals do. The hotel has a gas station and applebees within walking distance. (applebee's has late night beer specials) The rooms were clean and air conditioning worked great! The breakfast (cereal, waffles, toast, muffins, hard boiled eggs, oj, coffee, apple juice, etc) was good! Very close to Garden of the Gods National Park...which is a must-see attraction!

If you're looking for a local micro brewery, try Trinity Brewing Co. which is down the street from the hotel. It has a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. However, if you like more of the traditional pub fare, try Phanton Canyon Brewing Co. in downtown Colorado Springs. If you go to the Phanton Canyon, you must try the Roast Beef Ciabatta! It is a lot of food and absolutely fantastic!

The hotel was very comfortable.
The hotel was very comfortable. Unfortunately when we arrived there was a power outage in the area and the hotel was affected by it. We left, had dinner, and then checked into our room. The girl that was working the desk was very friendly, helpful, and apologized for the inconvenience. I would stay here again if I were in the area.
