Worth every dollar and not a dollar more

Me and friends were just staying the night in the Springs on our way to Fort Collins, and we're college students so you know how the budget looked. The price couldn't be beat - $50 for 4 people after taxes. It's basically what you expect given the price. The room was very small and the two full beds had odd and not particularly comfortable mattresses. The WiFi was not free (although it was pretty cheap as far as non-free WiFi goes at $3/day/device), and the laundry was coin-op. There were some stains on the linens and carpet. Complaints out of the way, the staff was very friendly (especially considering our late arrival - it's always good to see someone cheerful on the night shift) and the bathroom was very nice. There's a brand new flat-panel television with easily accessible A/V hookups and pretty good furniture besides the beds. If you're looking for somewhere to stay on a budget, I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you just need somewhere to crash overnight. I'm not sure I'd want to spend more than a couple of days there since the beds were pretty lackluster. Overall I'd say this is one of the best Motel 6 locations I've stayed at because of the friendly staff and new furniture.

DO NOT STAY HERE

I have stayed at other Motel 6 locations and NONE were as filthy as this place! The room was tiny for 4 people. The bed sheets were full of hair. The beds and sheets had multiple stains including 3 very distinctive blood stains. The floors looked like they had not been swept in weeks as we found used band aides all over the place. The phone looked like it used to be a cream color but was full of brown "gunk" which made it a different color all together. My whole family literally slept on top of sheets fully clothed as we didn't want any parts of our bodies touching anything in this room. For a price of $89, this was absolutely no value. Even if we had paid $40 it would NOT have been worth our complete and utter disgust!

Basic but pay for what you get

We only stayed for a few hours as we were attending the qualifing stages of the Pikes Peak Hill Climb. Good location for access to Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. Room is basic. No major problems. Some noise with people arriving to the room beside us but the place was very busy the night we were there.
