good location, great staff
Was here for 3 days of skiing with my teenage daughters and their friends. Stayed in a townhome, which was very roomy. United Airlines lost my luggage and the staff was very helpful with making sure I knew what was going on. They also were well staffed so there was no waiting at any time.

You don't need a car really. The shuttle service is extensive. There is no on-site dining.

Great trip, except........
We only spent early mornings and late evenings actually at the hotel, but the staff was very friendly, especially the staff at the restaurant! The hotel was a straight shot off of the major highway and easy to find. The only problem I had was that the wifi connection was only available at the lobby, which was OK, but then it wasn't even working. I was assured that it was going to be fixed and wifi was going to be available throughout the hotel the day we were leaving (of course). Becoming a member of their guest club entitled us to 2 $5 coupons per day (one for each of us) for the restaurant and it didn't cost anything or take time out of our busy schedule.

Short drive from hotel
A short 15-20 minute drive takes you to Manitou Springs, which is great shopping and an overall adorable "village". Garden of the Gods monument is there, also, and is a "must see" in the area!

Fantastic family vacation
Great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely return to this hotel. However, hotel does not serve complimentary breakfast.

Great experience
Wasn't expecting much, but found the hotel to be either new or freshly remodeled. Room was as good as I've seen in much more expensive hotels. VERY friendly and helpful staff. Liked the bar/restaurant in the lobby. A great experience. Only thing negative I have is the small fitness room--only three cardio machines.
