Older Room

We had a very comfortable room with a large balcony and a superlative view of Garden of the Gods for a very reasonable rate. Our rate was much less than many of the rooms at this resort , possibly because in this room the decor is dated and the room in need of refurbishment. It was clean and comfortable and great value for a 2 night stay. I cannot believe there would be any other accommodation in this area with better views!

If driving up Pikes Peak start earlier in the AM. When we returned down the mountain at approximately 11 :30 AM there was a long line up of cars at the entrance gate. The road is VERY good..

Nice anniversary getaway!

Couldn't ask for more beautiful view or location on ridge directly across from Garden of the Gods - gorgeous! Had asked for handicap friendly room but first desk clerk said only had second floor, in building with no elevator. Hubby just recovering from hip surgery, so that didn't go too well. Called to front, got different desk person who easily moved a couple rooms around and put us on first floor. Need to focus bit more on accomodating special needs. Rest of stay was fine. Property under new management, being updated and renovated - which we felt it definitely needs. Looking forward to a return trip after more updating completed! Beds comfy. Not sure why onsite restaurant added automatic 20% service fee to dinner tab for a party of 2 - like to make our own choices on things like that. Good food!

Gorgeous!

Stayed over 4th of July Weekend and had an Amazing time. We stayed in a King size room with rollaway. The views are amazing! My husband spent many hours on the patio just enjoying it. We had a nice spacious bathroom area separated nicely from the bedroom area. It had a refrigerator and fireplace! Wonderful! We enjoyed the pool. It isn't huge but it has a stunning view and it is perfect for relaxing! We had a great time and will definitely plan to come back.

Beautiful

The views from the room and lounge were amazing. I was there for a wedding at it was lovely. The front desk staff seemed a little clueless and it was unfortunate that there was no breakfast included or at least some coffee.

Great place to get away from the kids

My wife and I live locally (South of Denver). We wanted to get away without traveling too much. We have 3 young kids and it was nice to be away but not too far. Location was perfect. We were able to go running on the trails, mountain biking at red rocks canyon, the tennis courts on site were great, the pool was clean and the view from the pool of the mountains made me forget my worries. We had breakfast in bed and loved that each room as a fire place. The bathrooms were clean and BIG!. The only negative thing was that our shower drain was plugged. We were only there for a night so it wasn't a big deal. I told the staff about it on my way out. We think we will stay here many more times.

Red Rock Canyon for biking. They have trails that are good for experts and beginners.

Great spot, great hotel!

My room was so spacious--really a mini-apartment with a fantastic view of Pike's Peak and the Garden of the Gods. I only wish that I had had more time to spend taking advantage of the resort's offerings!
