Never Stay Here

This hotel was not bad looking from the out side but once you got to your room it was a different story. The hotel was not very good the bed was lumpy the tv was fuzzy and it had a funny oder. I would not recoment this hotel to any one no matter your finances find a different place.

Colorado Springs visit

This place was beautiful on the outside, but the inside was a little dated. The bed was very uncomfortablet. We ended up sleeping ont he sofa bed. It was also a smoke free room, but you could smell smoke and animal when you first walked in. It was nice to have a living room and kitchen area. Looking through the area, the dog walk was very small. They just had 1 small path around a small shed for dogs to walk.

It was OK

This hotel was definitely a good deal for the price. We loved the kitchen and took full advantage. The property was well-maintained and overlooked a golf course. They really could use some improvements though. The walls were very thin and I was afraid to make any noise because we could hear our neighbors just talking. The heater made A LOT of noise (more so in the middle of the night every couple of hours). The water heater needed to be checked because it took me an hour to take a shower because I would adjust the temperature every 2 minutes or so because it would go from scolding hot to ice cold with each adjustment. The wi-fi was great when it worked (in our building at least since we were probably the furthest away from the front desk). The front staff was very friendly and we didn't have any problems with them. Just be prepared for some noises when you go.

Apollo - like borrowing a cheap apartment

The Apollo Park Executive Suites seemed as if it was an upgrade to may of these, after all, it was named Executive Suites. If it was marketed as if it was a roadside inn I'd have been fine with that, but I was annoyed that the name was so inaccurate. For a group of hunters, or as a cheap option for folks that don't require security, or who are on a very tight budget, this hotel may be fine. The grounds were reminicent of my first apartment. Three floors, no security doors. Big multi-room suites, with an efficiency kitchen. All the equipment needed for a lengthy stay. Budget bed, about one step up from a pull-out mattress. Small tube TV, but they did offer free cable. No idea about wireless. Clean, small bathroom. I didn't see any bugs, but the place wasn't exactly airtight. I've no idea about staff. Paperwork was entirely manual. No lobby - The office closed before my arrival (late in the evening) and they didn't open by the time I left at 7AM. So I handled my paperwork with the office via phone, and unlocked a keybox myself with the code they provided.

Decent freeway access. This hotel is near the warehouse and industrial area in the south metro ring of Colorado Springs. Some fast food nearby.
