Super 8 Castle Rock Colorado

Nothing fancy but clean, convienent, and inexpensive. The people are nice too!

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are adequate and the location is convenient to I-25, and several places to eat within walking distance.

not as stated. beds double not queen. mirowave unable to plug in where it was sitting and after moving did not work. Did not change sheets even after we put their card on bed. Were told maid was from Japan and did not speak english. Were brought damp sheets to put on our bed ourselfs. The maid did fold the bedspred that day. Next day our room cards did not work. I could continue but you get it

We flew into the Denver Airport and was traveling south. We were able to walk to a restaurant for dinner and then enjoyed breakfast at the hotel. The hotel was quiet and clean.

What sets this hotel apart is the staff. You just couldn't ask for more personable and considerate people to spend a week with! This property is owner operated and it shows. A great deal of effort and resources are expended to create an atmosphere of being at home with your family. This facility is perfectly located between Denver and Colorado Springs. Easy freeway access to the property and ample dining available just a few steps away. You could spend twice as much and only be half as pleased.

Arrived after over 3 hours of driving at 10 at night. Room had, believe it or not, DOG FECES in between the two beds which unbeknownst to me, I stepped in. It was embedded in my boots. The front desk clerk at first vehemently stated she could do nothing about it until about 8 the next morning; we had to be on the road by 7 or so, but give us a new room. We took new room, only two working light bulbs in the whole room (3 non-working lamps), tv remote battery dead, clock unplugged, when we moved the night table to plug it in, there was sheer FILTH behind the night table. Sheets dirty. I was up to my elbows washing the bottom of my boots in the tub until about 11:30 pm. We pretty much insisted on a refund; I can stand a hair in the tub or bed, but DOG FECES when you arrive for what should be a restful night, inexcusable and beyond disgusting. We did go back down to the front desk and got the clerk away from her pizza long enough that she called the manager who did offer a full refund. The only redeeming thing, EXCEPT, get this,the manager instead of apologizing profusely the next morning and asking if there is anything else she could do to make it right, tried to blame US causing a loud argument in the hallway at 7:30 am! We didn't even have dogs in the room!! Unbelievable! The breakfast also looked dirty and awful. I implore all travelers to stay away.

The check in was quick and easy, the room was clean and comfortable, but i didn't take time to use any other amenities.

So So.

Went to Castle Rock to attend the Renaissance Faire in Larkspur. The Super 8 was perfect for our plans.
