Rustic Charm

We didn't spend a whole lot of time in the hotel, but we were very pleased with the time we did spend there. The hotel had a rustic and cozy feel to it. It was very clean and our room was comfortable. The continental breakfast was great and much appreciated. We will definitely be staying here again next winter. It is a short drive from the downtown area of Breckenridge, and far enough away to feel "away from it all."

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

This is not in the downtown area, it is sitting on top of a small mountain. If you are looking for a hotel that is a short walk to restaurants/shopping/nightlife, then this is probably not the hotel for you, though they do offer a shuttle service to the downtown area.

Had a nice time.

This was a pleasant get-away. The staff was very friendly and eager to assist. Shuttle service was fantastic. The rate was about what I would expect for the location. The rooms were better than average. I highly suggest you call and ask them for directions to the lodge.... If you follow directions given by gps, you will have trouble getting there on the side roads with snow!

Exceeded expectations

While a bit away from Breckenridge Village we felt we got the best of both worlds ie the peace and quiet of a secluded mountain lodge and yet a minutes away from the lifts and nightlife of Breckenridge.

Downstairs at Eric's-an unexpected surprise. Thought it was a typical tourist trap at first but when the food came it was easily the best in Breckenridge.

Close to being a great place

This is a great location with a great view but there are some things that could use some improvement. Our room was nice, nothing extraordinary but nice. Small bathroom. There is no bar at the hotel. The workout facility could use some updating. If I were going to Breck to stay a weekend at a spa, this wouldn't be what I would have in mind as a spa. This is a hotel that has some massage rooms. If a bar is added, locker rooms and fitness rooms are updated, and small improvements are made, this could be a very nice destination in Breck.

a great couple of days at Breckinridge!

The room was a mountain view room and it lived up to its name! The continental breakfast was convenient as was the free shuttle to town. The bed was comfortable and the fireplace was a bonus. And what a great view from the outdoor hot tubs!

High Value Location

We stayed at the Lodge i'n Breckenridge CO. This is our second time to stay here. We visited during our ski vacation. The rooms are really nice. Houskeeping keeps the rooms really clean. The view is stunnng. Full view of all ski peaks. It is about 10 minutes from town and ski parking. They have a nice free breakfast. It would be better if the dinning room was open for lunch and dinner. I recommend for all wanting an above average affordable place to stay.

Close, free shuttle, outdoor hot tub!

Booked day of because of a snow storm. Quick, easy checkin & out (for MLK day/night), very friendly staff, nice mountain vacation feel to the room/building. There's a free shuttle to anywhere you need to go. Close to the mountain too. overall very comfortable and perfect for our situation (4 medical students, last minute). 2 big hot tubs OUTSIDE which was great and nobody bothered us about glass bottles. The continental breakfast was more limited than most I've seen, only carbs & coffee.

Beautiful mountain view

This was a really nice property with a view of the town of Breckenridge and the slopes, as well as really gorgeous mountain vistas - we would have been really disappointed if we had not booked the mountain view room because it was perfect with a balcony outside. The lodge area was very nice and comfortable and the breakfast room, surrounded by windows, was also stunning. Slight drawbacks included the quality of housekeeping, and the lack of any food other than breakfast on premises - if it the road is icy it would be nice to have the option of eating on site, but there is a delivery service that delivers from all of the restaurants in town - if you like to have a personalized stay, with a connection with the hotel staff, you will have to initiate it - the staff were nice enough, but it was kind of odd that they way things are set up, you really don't interact with anyone the whole time - and when we left, there had been a power outage for most of the morning, which started when we were at breakfast and continued through not really being able to take a shower in the dark that morning - it was the oddest thing that no one mentioned anything about it in the darkened breakfast room and I checked out and the front desk clerk, just standing there in the dark did not mention it either!!!! kind of weird but we would definitely go back because of the views and also convenience to town
