Some might like it hot
Let me start by saying that this room was like a sauna. If you like to live in an 80+ degree environment, then look no further. I had the furnace turned off, and it was still hot. A call to maintenance resulted in a note on our door stating that the smaller condos "run warm" and that we should open a window if we are hot. Give me a break. Also, you have to check in and out at the office on the north end of main street. This was not mentioned anywhere in our travel itinerary and we had a late check in, so it took us about an hour to figure out what we were suppose to do. Aside from those bad aspects, the room was otherwise nice, the heated, free parking was awesome, and he proximity to the Snowflake lift was rockstar. If we could have had some autonomy over the climate control and check-in/out wouldn't have been such a circus, this place would get 5 stars.

Easter ski getaway
The hotel is in a great location, very central. The room was small and extremely hot. The sofa bed definitely needs a new mattress and since we had no balcony it felt a little enclosed. We did not see any member of staff. For the time we were there it was acceptable, the ski ing really made up for the accommodation.

Would Stay Again
We had a good experience at Riverbend. Our unit was nice, updated and clean. The location was great with the Snowflake lift located just behind the building. We loved having the garage access and the ski locker for our equipment. Our only complaint was that our unit was so HOT. We had the window open most of the time (even at night with the temps 9 degrees!).

Decent place for ski in/ski out
Overall, somewhat ordinary place. Pluses: Location right next to lift. Minuses: Room too hot! Something wrong with the heating in the building. We had to open a window in 8 degree weather just to get the room comfortable. Room layout kind of weird. Kitchenette was tiny, hardly able to prepare a meal. TV/DVD messed up. I had to re-wire from one configuration to another to watch TV or DVDs. No simple switch box to change from one to the other.

Nightlife tip:
Short drive from hotel
There really was no night life to speak of in Breckenridge. Dining was great, but no place to dance. I guess next time we would try driving to frisco.

Riverbend Lodge - Breckenridge, CO
This was a great place to stay. Plenty of room for the two of us, clean, easily accessible and nicely decorated. Only 2 complaints - first is that we were supposed to "check-in" at the office of the management company in downtown Breckenridge [...]. Only other complaint is that due to the room layout the bedroom area was quite far away from the window. Since we stayed in the summer and there was no air conditioning, it was too hot for my husband to sleep in the bed and he ended up having to sleep on the pull-out couch every night. Kind of a bummer, but otherwise it was a wonderful place to stay.

We loved panning for gold and touring the Country Boy Mine just outside of Breckenridge. I could have spent the whole day looking for gold!

quiet ski trip
Nice enough studio room. A little run down, but had everything that we needed. It really is an easy ski out, but you have to take a long somewhat flat ski trail to ski in (might be hard on a snowboard). Room would fit a couple with two small kids, but I think 4 adults would be a little cramped. We were able to make breakfast and lunch in the room and saved lots of $! We would stay again if the price is right.

Dining tip:
Long walk from hotel
We liked the steak and rib (bird logo) on main street. The soup was so good! You can use the bus system (it stops right by the ski lift) but it is a little confusing and stops 2x per hour.

Great location for ski in-ski out access
My wife and I spent two weeks at Riverbend on a ski vacation. The studio room was neat, clean and had all of the things we needed to enjoy our vacation. The best part was the location. Riverbend is right next to Snowflake lift, making it easy to get on and off the slopes. In addition, downtown Breckenridge was only a few blocks walk away. We liked Riverbend very much and highly recommend it to others.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
In addition to skiing, there are many things to see and do in Breckenridge. For example, we went dog sledding. The second week at Breckenridge, there was an ice sculpture competition. Breckenridge also has lots of good restaurants and stores. All of these amenities are within walking distance, except for dog sledding, and the dog sled company picked us up to take us there and back.

Was a great place to stay and the price
The only bad part of the trip was you didn't give any direction on where to check in. Lucky that there was a phone number located on the building to call and they give you directions on where to checkin.
