Great Place!
We stayed in the Colorado Suite and were very pleased with our accommodations...The room was updated with new furniture, tv's, and appliances, and was extremely comfortable. The ski in/out from building 4 was great! The maintenance staff quickly supplied us with firewood each time we requested it. While this was our 5th or 6th time in Breckenridge, this was our 1st stay at Beaver Run Resort...and it will definitely not be our last!

Not worth the money
Beaver Run Resort is old and worn out. Rooms need updating. The restaurant food was not good and we had to wait an hour for our food.

Bad - Noisy - Poor Service
Where do I start? How about the room? Forget about the TV being something out of the 1980's. When I entered the room the first thing I noticed was the dirty pool towel hanging on a hook just inside the entry door. The in-room coffee maker was broken. The alarm clock randomly made some strange noise throughout the night. I finally had to unplug it to silence the thing. The walls must be made of paper. I could hear every word uttered by the people on either side of me. I did not have to guess what they were doing based on the sounds I heard. I had listened to them discuss what they were going to do. Shall I discuss the restaurant? Service would have to improve to simply be bad. How can it take 15 minutes for a glass of wine? When my food did arrive, part of it was near frozen. So much for fresh. When I pointed it out to the waitress, her response was, "Sorry." She then took $2 of my bill.

a little far to walk to most restaurants and shops, didn't try the shuttle, parking and driving was convenient if main street is avoided, even in the peak season

Love Breckenridge
Once you get the lay of the land, you'll love the town of Breckenridge and you'll love staying at Beaver Run. Our condo was clean and comfortable with room to roam. The downside of our trip was that we went to Colorado in the "Mud Season" This season runs the entire month of May and is really between the ski season and the summer season. So while some of the shops and restaurants are closed at this time of year, we still found fantastic restaurants and plenty of shopping. Beaver Run has great food at Spencers and there are very nice places to shop for sundries, clothing and food at Beaver Run also. Don't forget your bathing suit so you can hit the hot tub and star gaze at night.

Super Location
Incredibly convenient--Trui ski-in, ski-out to not 1 but 2 lifts, 1 is right outside your door. Private ski lockers for each room located just feet from the Beaver Run Superchair. Restaurant, rental shops, pools, hot tubs, sauna, steam room, spa on the premises. Clean, sufficient (not luxurious) room with a great view. Beds and linens better than average. Free shuttle service anywhere to and from anywhere in town (don't need a designated driver!-just a phone). Things that would have made it even better--room service, free wi-fi, free parking. This wasn't my first stay at Beaver Run and it won't be my last!

Good location
We stayed for three nights at this hotel. The hotel was very convenient for attending a conference and for skiing. We are not a fussy family but we had an uncomfortable stay overall. The bed was too small and our suite was extremely hot even though it was snowing outside. We had to use the very noisy fan/AC throughout the night. The curtains/drapes were broken/unhooked which allowed too much light and no privacy since the room was facing the ski area. We did not use the jacuzzi but the kitchen area was useful for making breakfast (Wolfgang Puck coffee provided was delicious). Generally, the room is in need of updating. The best thing about the hotel was the in/out swimming pool. Internet access was not free in the room and extremely slow and useless (we asked for a refund). The lobby area did have free WiFi access which was OK. Parking was also not free.

Great location, great facilities
I'd worked in Denver some years ago so had a thorough knowledge of Breckenridge. But this was the first time I stayed in the Beaver Run resort. Location is just superb. We were able to walk just 50m from our condo in comfort to our ski locker before walking a further 50m to be at the lifts. Facilities are great. Ski lockers perfectly placed, great pool and hot tubs with views of the slopes, rooms have all you need and the fireplaces were an added bonus. On a further note, we checked in on March 30 2011 and whilst the room was fine, the view wasn't. We asked if there was any better rooms available and within 15 minutes, the staff had given us a fantastic room on the 4th floor overlooking the pools and the lifts. Very impressed and can't believe I hadn't stayed there before.
