Snowboard trip
We had a great time. The location of the hotel was ideal for getting on the mountain quickly. The cleaning service did a great job. The only issue we had was that the refrigerator kept freezing our food.

Great hotel, perfect location
We rented the hotel room option without a kitchenette. Next time we will probably get the kitchen option because the food in the hotel gets expensive. The room was very clean but the beds were uncomfortable. They give you a free locker to store your skis and there is a ski lift right outside the locker room. Awesome location. Garage parking is $10 per day. There seemed to be available parking behind the hotel if you don't want to pay extra. The pool, hot tubs, and sauna are great. Do not eat lunch at the cafe closest to the ski lift in the bottom of the hotel. Paid $21 for a hamburger and fries that was terrible. The $1 menu burger at McDonalds is better quality. I would definitely stay here again.

Good for a short ski vacation
We really enjoyed our stay at Beaver Run. The staff was friendly and worked hard to get us checked-in early since we had been traveling since 4AM. While the room had obviously updated kitchen and bathroom, the shower situation was very strange (attached to the kitchen, not bathroom and surrounded by windows into the living room and kitchen). The furnishings, carpet and wall hangings were dated, but we didn't expect 5-star furnishings for the price we paid. We appreciated the 10% discount that we got at the restaurants on the resort, but didn't appreciate the 5.5% "resort fee" added to meals. The concierge desk was very helpful and took care of reservations for us. This is my second trip to this resort. I would go again if we had children with us. For just a couples trip, I would probably suggest some place with better amenities.

The first weekend of the month is Breckenridge's Christmas lighting ceremony with a "Santa Claus Race". This is worth the trip for sure. Such a quaint and fun experience!

The location is great, close to the ski gondolas. The facility is a bit old looking. The staff was incompetant and unhelpful - definitely a detraction.

Great location
My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. We had a great time. We loved being located right by the slope and just a few blocks from the shops and town. The pool and sauna were amazing and the outdoor pool and hot tubs were great. The only thing I could complained about would be that the hotel is older but you can tell they have made some renovations.

~What you would expect~
The hotel was all we really needed. We knew going there we weren'tt planning on being in the hotel. We went for fun fresh air and activities. If you are going for a quiet vacation inside, you probably could look elsewhere. Tons of amenities though, just a bit out-dated. Overall it was pleasant, great location, and reasonably priced.
