Modern Rooms
Although the location was a bit out of the area where I was training the room was very nice. Room service cleaned every day. The gym was small however it was well organized and provided enough equipment for a good workout. They also had laundry and dry cleaning services. Wholefoods was within walking distance, that is if you don't mind walking a half mile or more. I really enjoyed my stay and would consider returning in the future.

A Couryeard Anomaly
I generally enjoy and prefer Courtyard hotels because they are always spotlessly clean and well run. Regrettably this one fell short on the cleanliness side.

Room more than adequate
Stayed for 2 nights to run 10k Bolder Boulder and with hotel full it was quiet, convenient, clean and close enough to the start to walk to. We also walked to Pearl St. mall area and found that for 3 able bodied, semi athletic people it took no time at all during daylight hours. I may have taken a taxi had it been night.

Disappointed
Positives: - Friendly and helpful staff - Downstairs Bistro has variety of food options - Premises were clean - Plenty of parking Negatives: - Location - far from Pearl Street and other venues of interest. It's basically in the middle of an office park which is good if you're on a business trip, perhaps but we just came for vacation. - Room - bed was extremely uncomfortable (mattress, pillows, blankets, etc). The furniture was set up strangely and the room did not have an inviting or warm feeling. - Walls were paper thin - we could hear almost everything going on in the room next to us - Nothing special about the hotel

"Good business trip"
I went out to Boulder on buisiness and my last stay at a hotel in the area (to remain unnamed) was not so great. So I didn't have high hopes for this trip. The Courtyard by Marriott Boulder, however, changed my expectations. Beautiful setup, free wifi, morning coffee, decent bar and food. I wanted to spend more time in their lobby than in my room! The room was pretty standard, but nothing to scoff at.

If you're looking for some decent food in the area and you're feeling adventurous try Ras Kassas Ethiopian Restaurant, it can be tricky to get to, but you'll have a very unique experience. If that doesn't float your boat, try Pizzeria Locale. Great food, but the place is always packed, so be prepared for a long wait.

Trip to Boulder
Overall we had a fine experience. We were glad we had a car because the location was further away from downtown Boulder and CU campus than we had originally thought.
