Nice Clean Place

We had no troubles while staying here. We would probably stay again. Boulder is small enough that this place was not too far out of the way from town.

A good deal

This is the second time I have stayed at the Boulder Twin Lakes Inn. My priorities are: having a kitchenette, having a room with space in which to move around and to unpack my stuff, having a bathtub, having a fitness room. I pretty much get all these things with the BWLI but the fitness room is actually a health club that you need to drive to. I used this club multiple days on both my stays and it is a very nice and well-stocked little facility in a strip mall. I had a pretty view out my window this go around - especially with the leaves changing. I have serious sleeping difficulties/insomia but I slept really well both nights - I found the bed comfortable and the curtains block out all light -- I could have slept all day! In terms of amenities, there are washers and dryers on the main level and a computer with internet access open for guest use. The complimentary breakfasts are very adequate - nothing outstanding but all the essentials in terms of the array of cold breakfast foods. They have both eggs and peanut butter so you can get some protein rather than just a lot of carbs. Also, for those who care, there are a number of whole grain options. My one complaint is the housekeeping - there are often things left undone like missing towels or unreplaced coffee/tea packets or garbage cans not emptied. Nothing huge but just a little sloppy. I think this is a great deal for a comfortable and homey place. It is a little bit far out from town. It takes anywhere from 13 to 20 minutes to get to the CU campus, depending on time of day/traffic. But all-in-all I like the facility and the amenities. It is simple, a bit rustic, but has many of the comforts of home for a very reasonable price.

Nice location at a fair price

We visited our family in Boulder.Possibly the sheets could have been a lighter weight.Over all the hotel was in a nice location away from traffic congestion. We would stay there again on our next trip.

Great value

The rooms were comfortable and roomy with a sofa in front of the TV; microwave and small refrigerator and nice desk area for working. There was also plates & dishes. A good place to stay if you're going to be in Boulder for an extended stay, especially on business. It's a little out of the way but not far from downtown (10-15 minutes).
