Nice one night stay
The breakfast was very nice with lots of choices. The rooms were clean and roomy. The only negative is turning into the motel off the two streets. It is right on the corner of a busy intersection with islands between lanes. You must be traveling west or south in order to turn into the motel. No problem if you are aware ahead of time.

Visited a local brewery. Enjoyed the local brews, food, and NCAA basketball tourney on big screen TV.

good place for business travel
stayed one night, upon arrival had a minor problem with room's plumbing – got instantly re-assigned (Sunday night off-peak travel helped here) Comfortable, quiet and clean room, good internet, nice work chair in the room. WOrkable breakfast included in room rate, nothing exciting but food is food. Overall, very convenient hotel.

Golden Buff is Good Stuff!
Perfectly located in central Boulder, (not far from the CU campus) and easy to find off the main highway. Walking distance to all that you need, and located on the main bus route for a easy get around. They serve a no charge continental breakfast, till 10:00, so you do not have to get up early for your meal. This is important because they have nice soft pillows (which you can purchase for only $15) and very comfy beds. There are a lot of food options available for the breakfast, and polite staff to assist you. They cook your waffle for you! The staff definately went out of their way to accomodate our requests with a pleasant attitude. This is the third time that I have stayed at this hotel and this is the third time that I am glad that I stayed at this hotel. This is not a five star award winning formula hotel, with elegance and beautiful decor. But it does the job perfectly for my family. Next time I need to go to Boulder, I will stay at the Golden Buff, it is Good Stuff!

The continental breakfast is not the most elegant breakfast you will ever have, however it is certainly was adequate and tasty. I would recommend utilizing this option because not only does it save you buying a meal, but it saves you so much time! There is a lot of fun things to do in Boulder...Go do them!

We always enjoy staying at the Golden Buff. I love that they have good lighting for reading. The staff are great and it's convenient to lots of things.

Love the golden buff
My second time staying there, as one of the cheaper hotels, it definitely exceeds my expectations. Free breakfast buffet, health spa room with a jacuzzi, sauna, treadmill and elliptical machine. It's right in the middle of a bunch of shops and restaurants. The only negative is there's no good view out of the room window since its only 2 stories, but that is ok, because you need not travel out of the way but a few minutes to see them awesome mountains. I love it out there in Boulder, and I will be staying at the golden buff again and again.

Health spa room on the first floor, the first time i stayed there I didn't know about it. it's about the size of two hotel rooms, but i have never seen anybody else in it, so it's very nice when you and your travel partner(s) get the whole place to yourself for a while.

We had no idea how central this location was. Everything (grocery store, restaurants, Pearl St.) is walking distance or a short bus drive away. We didn't have a car and ended up not needing one. The staff was really nice and helpful. It's not the most modern establishment, but it had a great amount of space, and excellent value for what we paid. TV went out our last night, but we weren't really watching it anyway. Wifi always worked which was a BIG plus.

Okay for a crash pad
I usually liked staying at Best Western Hotels when traveling but this hotel needs some work. The door leaked air which made keeping the room warm hard to do. The free breakfast was good.

Clean bed, bit dreary
This is more or less what you would expect for the price. Can't really complain about room, it was clean. Location is ok, in Boulder but very congested / suburban part. Whole place just felt a little dreary, could use some paint and touch-up. "Health Club" was pretty useless. I might look elsewhere for same price if I go back again.
