Great experience
We had no idea how central this location was. Everything (grocery store, restaurants, Pearl St.) is walking distance or a short bus drive away. We didn't have a car and ended up not needing one. The staff was really nice and helpful. It's not the most modern establishment, but it had a great amount of space, and excellent value for what we paid. TV went out our last night, but we weren't really watching it anyway. Wifi always worked which was a BIG plus.

Boulder Motel
The room was clean and within walking distance to Pearl Street Mall. The staff was overall friendly, however, the cleaning staff did knock on the door and asked when we would be checking out.

I'm Melting!
The hotel has a great location and the staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was very clean but the heat was unbelievably high and not controllable. Even with an open window it was still too warm to get a good night sleep.

Love the golden buff
My second time staying there, as one of the cheaper hotels, it definitely exceeds my expectations. Free breakfast buffet, health spa room with a jacuzzi, sauna, treadmill and elliptical machine. It's right in the middle of a bunch of shops and restaurants. The only negative is there's no good view out of the room window since its only 2 stories, but that is ok, because you need not travel out of the way but a few minutes to see them awesome mountains. I love it out there in Boulder, and I will be staying at the golden buff again and again.

Health spa room on the first floor, the first time i stayed there I didn't know about it. it's about the size of two hotel rooms, but i have never seen anybody else in it, so it's very nice when you and your travel partner(s) get the whole place to yourself for a while.

Too noisey
My wife and I had a hard time sleeping because of all the noise, they allowed a party there from a wedding and all the drunk people were so loud until 2am that our trip was ruined.

We always enjoy
We always enjoy staying at the Golden Buff. I love that they have good lighting for reading. The staff are great and it's convenient to lots of things.

Cheap, Trashy, Dirty, Location OK
Bad experience at the hotel. I did not like it from the start but they forced me into staying and would not let me receive a refund. It is exterior entrance so be prepared to fend off weirdos (this is boulder..by the way). The room was small and stinky. Dirty socks were found in between the mattress and box spring. Dont waste your time here go find another hotel.

Clean bed, bit dreary
This is more or less what you would expect for the price. Can't really complain about room, it was clean. Location is ok, in Boulder but very congested / suburban part. Whole place just felt a little dreary, could use some paint and touch-up. "Health Club" was pretty useless. I might look elsewhere for same price if I go back again.
