The staff was very helpful and knowledgable about their community.

Everything was smooth and their "continental" breakfast actually included Canadian bacon slices and cheese omelets as well. A very nice free breakfast here.

I had to find a room on short notice & this was my best option in the desired price range. Staff was friendly but in some cases a little challenged by the english language. Room was adequate but the A/C quit working the first night. It was fixed the next morning. The TV had poor reception on some channels. I fixed this by tightening the cable & moving it around. The price was a little high for the room but I suppose that is to be expected given the location.

Quick overnight while driving through. Room was very clean and quiet. The friendly staff was helpful. Nice pool, decent breakfast. I would certainly stay there again or recommend to friends.

We were in town for a volleyball tournament. The lobby area was very nice with a good free breakfast. The hotel was about 15 minutes from downtown Vail-pretty easy drive on the highway. The room/bathroom was very clean and overall a nice room.

Great location to city and resort bus to the lifts! Slightly dated rooms but otherwise, the hotel seemed appropriate for the amount of money per night.

Room and bed were spacious, clean and comfortable. Desk and bathroom were modest but adequate. No desk lighting. No wireless Internet access. Driveway and parking lot were poorly plowed, snow packed and I had to walk through standing water to get from my car to the back entrance to the rooms. Hallway carpeting on my floor was in need of repair due to ripples - not a big problem but just one of those things that set a "nice" place apart from other average properties. Breakfast selection was limited but adequate with clean comfortable seating area. Desk help could use some coaching on more polished friendly service. All in all a good deal, clean and comfortable where it counts but rough enough around the edges that would cause me to consider paying more for a better experience at another property on my next visit to the area.

Problems with toliet the whole time. Chain to flusher continued to come undone. The sink was very slow to drain due to the fact that the stopper would not come all the way up. At checkin, the desk clerk had a very flat affect and never smiled. We only stayed 1 night. Check out is not until 11am and at 8am, housekeeping was knocking on the door. They should have a list of everyone checking out, then wait until the check out, then clean the room. No need to disturb so early in the morning on our vacation when we were checking out later anyway.

Wasn't the best hotel, but hey its the comfort inn! For the money in avon you can't beat this hotel. Clean, convenient, and comfortable with a good breakfast. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling on a budget!
