A very good value alternative to staying on mountain in Beaver Creek area. Shuttle to the slopes stops right outside and is easy and convenient. Facilities are adequate, staff are very friendly and the room was spacious and clean. The kitchenette
was handy to have. The bathroom was a bit dated and small but that was the only negative.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short walk from hotel
There is a Citymarket grocery store right around the corner.
While the hotel layout is odd and a bit dated, the Christie Lodge is a great value for the Vail Valley. My room was quiet, comfortable and clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. Shuttles stop at the front door frequently to take you to the
mountain, shopping or dinner. And, I liked the other guests - friendly, low attitude and so happy to be in Colorado skiing!
Decent hotel with weird stair set up. Stayed for one night while on way to Vail. Bed by door by window to interior of hotel. Gets noisy early in morning and smells like chlorine in hallway. Huge room for the money. Includes balcony and kitchen
area with fridge and microwave. Utensils and plates included. Shuttle to Vail is something to consider if you're staying longer.
Was there for skiing. Super cheap and kitchens in the rooms, which was nice. The hotel is setup in a very odd manner, like it was built in stages and used to be an outdoor hotel that was converted into an indoor hotel. The subway built into it was
odd too. But again, the location and price can't be beat. Good hottub too. Would stay here again
