Loved the community jacuzzi after skiing. Bus picks up skiers often right in front of hotel. Ski shop in hotel has good discounts on equipment. Can walk to local shops. Only 2 mi to Walmart.

Great bang for your buck.
I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Christie Lodge. For $100/night, I was expecting a hovel. It was nice and clean and on the shuttle route to Beaver Creek. I would recommend requesting a room away from the pool/hot tub because of the noise level.

decent
It's a great price for the location, but the hotel itself is soso. Walking in the door right into the bedroom is awkward, and the bedroom was really warm (in January) while the living room was pretty chilly. The shared bathroom with doors to both areas is also interesting. The little kitchenette is nice, everything you really need to eat (no proper stove/range, but a microwave and electric skillet) and a dishwasher. The fireplace is a nice touch, but you're only supposed to use duraflame logs on it. When we were there, only one of the two 'adult' hot tubs was working (ie warm - the other was tepid at best) ... and eventually a couple with their kids also showed up. Not a particularly quiet location (both because of I70 and loudness inside the hotel) and there are a lot of stairs, but if you survived a day of skiing what are a couple flights of stairs? It worked for us, but when the sofa-bed is open, it takes up the whole living room area and isn't particularly comfortable.

Nice place. Close to the gondolla
Was there for skiing. Super cheap and kitchens in the rooms, which was nice. The hotel is setup in a very odd manner, like it was built in stages and used to be an outdoor hotel that was converted into an indoor hotel. The subway built into it was odd too. But again, the location and price can't be beat. Good hottub too. Would stay here again

Great room for budget price
Location is great. It's right on the Avon shuttle bus line that picks up right in front of the hotel; make an easy transfer to another bus that takes you right to the Beaver Creek slopes. It's also very close to the City Market. Overall layout of the hotel is odd. It looks like it was an outdoor motel that was enclosed. Our room was one floor up the elevator, then a long walk with a few small flights of steps along the way. I would recommend traveling light, which is hard to do on a ski trip. Room itself was very nice. Kitchenette has microwave, dishwasher, medium size refrigerator, and granite countertops/breakfast bar. The only thing it lacks is a stovetop. So don't plan to cook anything on a stovetop. The front of the room was noisy during regular hours, as the hot tubs were right down below from the room. But you couldn't hear the noise in the back of the room by the kitchen/living room. And the noise died down at night, so there were no problems falling asleep. Very nice, especially for budget-priced Beaver Creek lodging, and finding anything in the budget-priced range is difficult to do in Beaver Creek. The room itself was great; you just have to forget about the enclosed-motel feel and long walk with steps to the room. Would stay there again.

Nice Place!
The hotel was pretty cool. A good value for the money. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff was really nice. The only downside was the noise. Our room was right in front of the pool so we constantly heard children running around. If you want to take a good nap make sure you check your room location, upper floor might be better too (unless you are ok with the noise ski boots make on tile!) Make sure you are not the one sleeping on the sofa! It qualifies as a medieval torture device (aka not comfortable AT ALL)
