"Enjoyable experience"
My stay in Aurora at the Super 8 was for one night only. The staff was very courteous and they were helpful in fulfilling my request for a quiet room location. Thanks for a great quiet stay at a great price.

Airline performance problem
Ordered no smoking room with single queen bed. Super8 upgraded me to a two bed no smoking room. That's the good news. Both comforters had cigarette burn holes in them. Carpet looked like it is vacuumed with charcoal. No shampoo, no ice bucket and second bed (the one I did not sleep on) had black stains on the sheets (ewwww...). Shower faucet would not stop the flow of water. Expected nothing more from Super8. You get what you pay for. In their defense though, unlike all the other hotels in the area (Denver International Airport) they did not double their prices to gouge customers stranded by poor airline performance.

We just needed a low-cost, no-frills overnight room prior to our flight. The motel met that standard. Also, conveniently located near freeway to airport. Room was plenty big for baby crib and travel bags. Bathroom cleanliness was just OK; area behind door had been neglected; and, tub tile was in need of grout repair. Parking area and surrounding business area was well lit and felt secure. Motel is older but passably maintained. Middle of the night check-in was fast & no problem.

not what I expected
Upon arrival there were two police cars arresting one of the other hotel 'guests', there were also multiple people walking around the dimly lit parking lot drinking out of paper bags. I went to the front desk to talk to someone and had to speak through a bullet-proof glass pass-through slot. We didn't stay, none of the rooms had bullet proof glass.

Super 8 nightmare
I arrived at the Super 8 in Aurora late in the evening. The motel was pretty much empty. I pulled in and entered inside. The lobby area consisted of a table with 3 chairs, the check in desk, and some small furniture. It was old looking and the help was on the line with the internet service so I had to wait to be checked in. I was given a room. Upon entering it, I noticed it was old inside and musty. The rugs were stained, the coffee pot was missing along with the coffee, the light in the bathroom took 5 minutes to "heat up and come on" and the floor had black mold. The shower was hot for the first person, but the second had to wait, then it dripped after you were out! It was so bad we left the next morning. When I told the front desk I was leaving, he didnt ask why but I told him and he seemed not to care. Told me he could not give me back my money, so I lost 3 nights! I would NEVER recommend it. The area was bad as well, not a nice area. I checked into the Holiday Inn express and it was wonderful. This was a costly nightmare

Location to my Doctors appointment most helpful. Needed to make sure the room was empty BEFORE starting to unload your stuff. Dinning next door very convenient. Reasonable price for the accommodations.

Just OK
It was a restful place and OK for the price. The faucet handel on the sink was broken making it nearly unusable. The tub drained slowly. Otherwise a clean place.

Close to shops/Denver Staff GREAT!
My sister and I took our mom to Colorado for her birthday on a weekend getaway! We had a blast. We ended up taking my nephew who is 1 year old. We asked the staff for more pillows and blankets and the staff upfront went out of her way to bring them so we had them ASAP! I also needed directions to a few places we went (ie: Denver Museam of Nature & Science, Denver Mint) and she printed them off of Mapquest and gave them to me. They were awesome!
