one week getaway
Being a budget motel can't gripe too much. No real amenities in room. Just somewhere to lay your head at night. An occasional rush of activity or noise in hall or crying babies in nearby rooms but was not excessive. What WAS annoying was very squeaky exit door we were by. After second day made request at front desk to possibly get hinge oiled to stop squeak. Later in day when got back door was propped open. Next day door prop was gone and squeaking just as it was. Again, budget motel so you were pretty much on your own. I liked the location. Easy on and off nearby highway and food and fuel within a few miles.

Just a room, but a clean one!
This hotel was the perfect place to stay for the one night that I need prior to a flight out of Denver. The look outside of the hotel is pleasing. The front desk clerk was prompt and pleasant. The rooms really impressed me. They look very "hip" and our room had hardwood floors. The lime green in the room was kind of crazy but appreciated by my kids. The room was clean and cozy. The shower and bathtub were the best I'd ever seen in a budget motel. The beds were so comfortable my kids even commented on them the next morning. There is an Applebees close by where we ate dinner. It was Applebees but good. For breakfast we ate at the Rosie's Diner close by and it was very good and inexpensive. Now for the cons (not many): The pool is outside and closes @ 9:30PM which I thought was early. The motel has has tons of HBOs and ESPNs, but NO Disney or Nick for the kids. I thought this was ridiculous. For the price this motel offers great value. I will definitely stay here again.

The Nightmare
This hotel was in terrible condition, locks on the main doors not working, ice machine was not working, Wi-Fi was down most of one day, and front desk personnel did not seem to want to be bothered about it. Believe me this was my first and certainly my last stay at a Motel 6.

Good for a weekend or week stay
Motel 6 Denver East-Aurora was surprisingly much nicer than any other Motel 6 in which we've stayed. It is a 3-story facility with an elevator. The room and bathroom were larger than usual and very comfortable. There was a desk and chair in the room, a small closet, and a table with two chairs. However, the flimsy shower curtain continually blew towards me, which I did not like, while I was showering. The bathroom sink counter had space on each side for toiletries, and also had a hair blow-drier. Overall, our stay waas very pleasant and public transportation was conviently located close by. Very nice restaurants were near, two in walking distance.
