Awesome continental breakfast

Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits with milk gravy, waffles, yogurt, cereal, bagels, pastries... I've never seen a continental breakfast this good. The person that took care of it was extremely personable and helpful. Can't say enough about it.

Good Value in Aurora

The Best Western is a nice hotel with excellent staff. They kept the rooms nice and tidy and the bed is pretty comfortable (no nasty comforter on the bed, which is a bonus). The breakfast is standard fare. The location is pretty easy to get to. I will stay here again.

very clean

Felt very safe, lots of amenities, friendly staff. I had a bit of a set back at check in because I didn't read all the policies correctly and the reception did not care to help me figure out an alternative.

typical

which was not bad, but typical for $100/night seems out of line. Bathroom not very clean, hair on floor, tile coming up, carpets nearing the point of being worn ...

Great place to stay

We stayed here for 4 days, it was VERY nice! Great price for the area :D The staff was great. They replaced our towels everyday and made the bed like they should. The room and hallways always smelled clean and were taken care of. Laundry facility inside the building. The pillows were not really that good -- so if you have pillow issues I would bring my own if I were you. Otherwise everything else was great :) p.s. I had a note on my purchase that this place would charge an extra $8+ on local fees, this was not true. They do not charge you anything extra.

So So on my yearly March trip

I haved stayed at this motel for the last three years in March. The Bed was great. Cable wasn't so great. The cleaning ladies were great. When I checked in I was told that there was a new and improved breakfast. Ha Ha, They added "gravy". They changed the way they serve milk and juice. The juices were not cooled and the milk only had a tube of ice (not always frozen) down the middle of the pitcher. Again, the refridgerator didn't cool. It was replaced. The heater/cooler was haunted. It turned on by itself and put out a fowl odor. Then it shut off again on its own. The shower also adjusted its temp on its own. I had to keep turning it down. I watched the faucet and it turned hotter all by its lonesome. Weird!! Don't stay in room 318. The hot tub was too hot for me. The pool was OK.

Basic Accommodations

The room was clean and adequate. The only substantial complaint about our experience is that it was impossible to get a taxi. There is some noise on the north side of the hotel from the interstate, but with the a/c on, it's not that noticeable.

Very quiet even when fully booked

This was the quietest motel experience I have ever had. The rooms were fully booked/sold out for most of the time we were there, yet I never heard conversation in the halls or through the walls. Also was surprised and pleased that staff was so efficient during a fully booked week. (July 2011) Breakfast was consistently well stocked and easy to get to, and breakfast, cleaning, and other staff were courteous and efficient. Rooms were clean and new looking. The location is convenient to the airport as well as most Denver attractions, such as Hammond's Candy Factory, the U.S. Mint, Wildlife Animal Sanctuary, and Adam's Mystery Playhouse just to name a few that we went to. The mountains are in view in the distance and are a lovely day's outing. We decided a few days before our trip that we wanted two rooms instead of four people in one room. They were not able to give us another non smoking room immediately because they were booked, but they did get us changed into one mid-week. The smoking rooms, even though they are clean, do stink to non-smokers. Later I did see one of the folding beds in the hall and it was a twin size; not a cot so as it turns out that option might have been as comfortable. The only (minor) concerns that I would mention were the towels are not soft, and the hot tub (not the pool) seemed to have so much chlorine in it that we smelled of it even after a couple days of showers. I would recommend this motel and I would definitely stay there again.

The two most memorable things we did: Adam's Mystery Playhouse - it's a scream;loads of fun. And driving up Mount Evans - although it was terrifying because the road is so close to the edge of the mountain and very narrow, it was certainly memorable and we got some beautiful photos.
