When someone in Aspen tells you it is "off-season" they mean everything shuts down. Thank God for the Redheaded Tours that was a great tour of the mountains and open year round.

Rustic charm and elegance
Merrie Oct 1, 2009
We were there in low season-- last week of September. It was quiet, away from the noise of Main street. High speed internet ... connection worked great. Staff were friendly and helpful. The Snowmass-Aspen promotional discount card for area services was useless, though.

Perfect!
innotof09 Sep 24, 2009
We received the discounted fall rate, and when we arrived, found that we had been upgraded (complimentary) to a larger condo. ... Very modern yet comfortable decor, soft beds, and plenty of room. Staff was friendly. Great heated pool, and large hot tub. Full kitchen, several flat screen tv's and oversized living room furniture. Great fireplace- we enjoyed using throughout our stay! Behind the complex is the bike path, and a small park, as well as the historic Ute Cemetery. Right in town- yet on the outskirts and quiet, still able to walk to restaurants, etc. Only complaint we had was that we could hear people's loud foodsteps in the condo above us- wearing high heels on tile?? Let us check in early/check out late- no fees. Absolutely LOVED our stay.

Great Summertime Fun!
Nurse Meg Aug 3, 2009
They found out it was our first anniversay and upgraded us to a 2 bedroom condo. It was right next to the pool and hot tub ... which we loved. Everyone congratulated us on our anniversary. Although it's close enough to walk everywhere the free shuttle was great when it was raining, and I never had to wait for it. It was close to the Aspen club and Spa where I had a magnificent massage, as well as lots of great hikes and to the gondola. Lots of great restaurants to choose from as well! The best part of our trip was the White water rafting and live music at the Belly up club!

Great location
Rylee's friend Jul 8, 2009
We recently stayed at The Gant to attend a wedding in Aspen - what a great location - within walking distance to downtown ... Aspen and if you didn't want to walk they had a shuttle to drop you off or pick you up in Aspen whenever you wanted. When checking in we were upgraded to a 2-bedroom condo which was very nice. The only thing we would have preferred was a better view - we had a slight view of the mountains and the rest was of the parking lot - but no complaints at all with The Gant. The staff was very accomodating and they helped us in choosing and setting up a tour of Aspen which we all enjoyed. Would definitely stay there again.

Little Annie's Restaurant was a decent restaurant within a short walk from The Gant - it was recommended to us by the staff at The Gant and it was very reasonable - actually had dinner there twice while we were there for a week.

The Gant in Aspen is very nice and the location was awesome... everything is close. My wife and i went there for our ... anniversary. It was perfect for our occasion but i will say that if we went with a group of freinds we would probably stay elsewhere... the Gant seems pretty popular with older folks (50-60 crowd) and there isnt much going on. Like i said, perfect for just you and your wife or with the kids!

Great Place
James Oct 13, 2008
This place is the only place I will continue to stay at in Aspen. It was the second time I stayed there over 4 years and it ... was still the same great place but the second time around it was decorated much better making you feel more at home. The location of The Gant is perfect. It's about a 5 min or less walk from downtown and HWY 82. You don't have to worry about a thing to if you forget to call a cab if you didn't rent a car. The front desk will call you the night of your check out and will arrange a cab for you for free. Everything there is a breeze and the view is pretty nice that is pretty much in it's own Condo complex.

The Gant Hotel in Aspen was perfect for our girls weekend to see the John Denver tribute concert. A van took us to the ... concert and we walked back afterwards (too late for the van to run) without any problems. It was near the downtown area, close to shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to our friends.

Great location, great place!
David Sep 1, 2008
The Gant was exactly what we needed. We were traveling with a two year old and having a larger place (we had a standard one ... bedroom) was exactly what we wanted. The amenities were great - two flat screen tv's, fully furnished kitchen, etc. It was a hot weekend when we visited, so air conditioning would have been nice (it is my understanding that none of the units have a/c), but we survived with the ceiling fans. It was a pleasant short walk into town where there was plenty to see and do. Only problem was at check in when we were given a room that was already occupied. Good thing we knocked when we saw a light on inside! It was an honest (though careless) mistake, but required us to haul our luggage all over the place, as this is a large property and the parking is a distance from the rooms.

Plenty of food, shopping, and activities just blocks away.

My review of The Gant
Miriam Aug 29, 2008
When we arrived at the hotel, the staff was very accomodating and we were able to get our condo immediately and were upgraded ... to a 2 bedroom instead of a one bedroom. It really didn't make s difference because we were only 2 people so it wasn't special for us. The condo was nicely decorated, good view of the Aspen Mountain, had everything we needed for cooking, etc. the kitchen was beautiful. My ONLY OBJECTION for our stay was that for some reason the condo did not cool off at night and it was hard to sleep because we were hot. There was a portable A/C unit in our bedroom but it made alot of noise so we kept getting up because of it. I loved The Gant but if the conditions were the same regarding the room temperature, I would not go back.
