A classic ski lodge for everyone in Aspen
St. Moritz Lodge and Condominiums is alpine-inspired, but the price is value oriented. Affordable prices are key at this property. The accommodations range from hostel to private two-bedroom condominiums. Guests can save even more money by grilling out on the barbecue grills provided by St. Moritz Lodge and Condominiums. It is a short walk to the shops and dining of Aspen.St Moritz Lodge Rooms

Very nice dorm style room
I stayed in one of the dorm style rooms at the St. Moritz. The room was small, the bed comfortable, the shared bathroom clean and pleasant. The experience of the hotel was all about the shared spaces, though. The lobby is spacious and full of comfortable chairs. Guests hang out and visit, trading tips on what to see and how to get around. Wine is offered in the afternoon, coffee in the morning. A pleasant buffet breakfast with lots of fresh fruit. The swimming pool doubles as a hot tub, a nice touch.

Nice
I just checked into a lodge room. It's extremely clean and the bathroom is spotless. The bed has good cotton sheets and a hypoallergenic mattress pad. I also have a solid wireless internet connection. Very impressed.

Good value for the the price
Was there for skiing. The dorm rooms are basic but clean. The shared bathroom is also nice and clean. I really liked the warm water swimming pool and the hot steam sauna.

Great value
Located in quiet end of town. Rooms are simple and very clean. Nice continental breakfast - including fresh fruit. BBQ grill available for guest use.

In Aspen, but close to Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass. Short distance to bus stop to these areas. Hiking and biking abounds! Review Aspen/Snowmass sites for free concerts and other activities around; lots of free music and other offerings.

This is dorm - not a hotel!
I am very unhappy. [...]webite said nothing about the room I booked having a shared hallway bathroom and no tv. The was a non-fundable reservation and if I have any other option I would have taken it. [...] the hotel website need to make it clear that the bathrooms are not in the rooms and that the rooms do not have tv's. Aside from these issues, the hotel (hostel) was fine.

Good location but ...
This lodge is conveniently located in Aspen and is walking distance to the heart of the town. We arrived late and had an envelop ready for us with key and a map of room/parking. It was not very easy to find our room and parking. The lodge was in a very crowded area and it was hard to tell it apart from surrounding properties. The lodge is old style but two bedrooms were nice. The linen was torn at places. There was a coffee machine in the room but no coffee. We were supposed to get a continental breakfast in the morning but that was not available for our travel dates. Overall, an economical place to crash for night but nothing more.

St Morizt Lodge - They do it their way
The room did not have all the amenities that were promised. No hair dryer - had to go to the office to get one. Could not find an ice bucket - I was under the sink with a spounge and bottle if cleaning spray inside. The room would not cool off. We put the termostat at 50 and opened the windows and it was still to warm, and this was in March.
