Older hotel, not a great experience

I reserved a full size bed and instead this hotel pushed two twin beds together. I asked for a new room, but they said there were no other rooms available.

So close to great

Staff was fantastic and accommodating. They made great recommendations for dining. Room was clean and decently maintained if not a little cramped. My main complaint is if you're staying there in the summer be aware of the heat. No AC + small room without a lot of circulation = rather unpleasant sleep. The little amenities like a good breakfast & wine and cheese reception weren't enough to save this place from a two star review.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

Really not a long walk, but not so short either. Ajax Tavern at the Little Nell has fantastic food & service at a decent price. Plus they have a patio with a fantastic view. One of the best values for $$$ in Aspen.
