The Ahwahnee Hotel is a classic national park lodge set in the incomparable Yosemite Valley. It's not intended to be a luxury experience, but offers nice amenities. We had some issues with the HVAC system and discovered that the AC shuts off for
the hotel when the outside temperature is below 60 F, so be sure your room is cool late in the day. We also had some plumbing issues that took two tries to fix. However, the staff were helpful and polite. It is still very high-priced for what you get as a hotel, but the setting is truly uniqes and, as they say, priceless.
