Elegant, European-style hotel in Woodland Hills

This is my second stay at the Marriott at Warner Center, travelling for business, stayed for 9 days. It is very quiet, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the room immaculate and modern. I would stay there again.

Woodland Hills Marriott
The hotel is very clean and nice. It is near two shopping malls. The beds are comfortable. The pool,spa, and fitness center are wonderful. The hotel is not near any major attractions and L.A. traffic is very congested! The breakfast buffet was nice but it was $15.00. The parking is about $15.00 a day.

Short walk from hotel
Go to the mall on Topagana Canyon road instead of the one across the street. Try to avoid rush hour traffic!There are only a few ways to get over the mountains to the valley.

Nice -- But Inadequate in Many Ways
I think the Marriott Warner center has delusions of granduer. They provide a brochure where you can purchase amenities to take home -- such as towels -- But the bath towels are threadbare! There is no free wi-fi and $13/day seemed ridiculous to me. Even the Starbucks in-house doesn't have it. And I haven't room for the lock-box story -- in short, they opened the wrong one with blow torches and then it was empty -- no passports! A heart attack while they took 1/2 hour to figure it out. In short, fine, comfortable, clean -- but not luxury level -and no robeso robes.

Friends in town
Great place to stay
I have stayed there on two separate occasions and it's a very comfortable and clean hotel. LOVE the beds! Like sleeping on a cloud. The staff is courteous and helpful. Room service is lightning fast and always delivers quicker than the time quoted. I especially love the Starbucks in the lobby near the elevators. The rooms have a large sliding door leading to a small balcony...it's great to be able to get fresh air.

Color me frustrated
OK considering
Having stayed at this hotel on three previous occasions I thought I knew what to expect. They were totally packed and although I had requested a room with 2 beds since our 20 year old college daughter was joining us, they weren't able to accommodate me. In fact, they couldn't even provide me with a roll away. They did upgrade us to a room on the 12th floor (Conciege Level) at my request, which gave us enough floor space to handle an inflatable mattress that I purchased (an extra $75) out of my own pocket. I also find it rather bizarre that they charge $14 (plus tax ) for self parking. To further add to the frustration of all guests, at least one of the 4 elevators was not functioning and one other had to be worked on during crunch time Sunday morning. This made for some extremely cramped elevators.

Good Choice for Business Travel
I've spent about 20 nights at the Werner Center Marriott in the last 3 months. The hotel is in a good location, is very clean, has a nice (albeit expensive) restaurant and bar, and is generally an enjoyable place to stay.[...] both wired and wireless internet is $12.95 per day.
