Boutique Hotel in a Quiet Neighborhood
A boutique hotel that felt more like a spot in Paris than West Hollywood, Le Petit was a great place to stay. Our room was spacious and clean, with elegant old world furnishings and a gas-powered fireplace. Comfortable beds, reliable free internet, and a good location on a quiet street just one block from the restaurants, shops and people-watching in the center of West Hollywood. The rooftop terrace and pool made for a relaxing spot to sit and have breakfast (a good deal in terms of price) or an afternoon glass of wine (not such a good deal--too expensive for house wine). But overall, a fine hotel and we'll go back.

Short walk from hotel
Santa Monica Boulevard is one block away and there are plenty of great places to eat and have a drink. Be open-minded: West Hollywood is the heart of LA's gay community with plenty of rainbow flags flying above the shops and restaurants. It's lively, colorful and friendly.

No Where to Sit
This hotel is in a wonderful area! I was told that my suite w/ kitchenette, was just redone. There no plates or cookware, and the small frig. was full of mini-bar items, so room to put in any other items. The main room had a bed queen size bed, but no chairs or a coach to sit on. No art work on walls. The best part of this hotel is the roof pool and the very friendly staff.

Old Hollywood
This hotel will eventually be amazing, for now, it feels like a work in progress. The idea is there, but certain parts of the hotel felt dingy(ish), but then there was the roof/pool area which was incredibly cool. We got a free upgrade which was very nice, the view was of a scary parking garage tho. We were there for my sisters birthday & radiohead concert at the hollywood bowl, the front dest sent up a sweet card saying happy b-day and to have fun, along with the yummiest cheesecake and icecream...covered in strawberrys and blueberrys! I would totally stay here again, cool neighborhood, great staff, great design... just time to finish up the remodel and get that elvator moving quicker!! oh, one more slightly nerdy thing, its next to impossible to find the stairs... they are sorta hidden and no sign in sight, your never sure if your about to walk into a linen closet, someones room or the stairs... but again, a cool place to hang out!

Great location for Los Angeles business
I spent one night at the Le Petit and found the room to be very spacious, finely appointed...even had a 42 plasma TV. The staff at check-in was excellent. The hotel is located in a mostly residential, quiet neighborhood and is well-situated for doing business in the Beverly Hills, Hollywood area. Room service breakfast was very pricey. I would stay again.

new room interior design happening
The hotel is renovating the rooms. The new ones are fantastic - great atmoshphere. The older ones are OK - plain vanilla. As for the east side rooms and you'll get the new designs.

Great Staff Nice Room
The Valadon Hotel has some of the nicest staff of anywhere I have stayed. Everyone at the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful and was always smiling. The room was very nice the shower had the best water pressure and the bathroom was recently updated. There was also a functional gas fireplace and a balcony with a nice view. Parking is in a garage below the hotel which was nice. The neighborhood is great you can walk to restaurants, shops, and nightlife but the hotel is on a nice quiet side street tucked in between condos and apartments. The pool area was beautiful and the view from the sundeck is incredible.

Nice Small Hotel
The Valadon Hotel in West Hollywood is nestled in the neighborhood, just blocks away from food and entertainment. My husband and I had a lovely stay in a clean, quiet room with a gas fireplace. The first room they gave us smelled like smoke and they replaced it right away with a comparable room. Room service is 24/7 and they have a salt water swimming pool. We did not sample either, but were impressed all the same. We walked to Sunset Plaza for dinner, browsed at Book Soup on Sunset Boulevard. The next morning we walked to breakfast at Le Croissant on Doheny - about a 15 minute walk. It was lovely to walk through those beautiful overgrown neighborhoods of well-kept Hollywood bungalows and not have to worry about parking. By the way, parking at the hotel was $20 for our one night stay.

About a 10 minute walk from the hotel is Chin Chin a California/Chinese fusion restaurant which is a favorite to many celebrities. Delicious!
