Always loved the Mondrian
And this stay is no different from the rest. Perfect location, amazing staff. However, I was extremely disappointed to learn that the pool and sky bar were closed during my stay. I will be back eventually however.

Great Views of LA
great hotel location wise. rooms needs to be sound proofed as you can hear all the noise outside, something needs to be done regarding the heavy and loud door locks, way too expensive valet parking ($33), other than this, staff is very helpful and friendly and room amenities are good, design is chic and beds are average.

Mondrian-hip hotel in great location
We really enjoyed our stay at the Mondrian. The aesthetic was right up our alley. Loved our city view from our floor to ceiling windows. Disappointed that the pool was closed. They did grant you access to the pool across the street, but it was a small pool and overpacked. Despite that, we would stay there again. Great location.

Great, but not.
Great hotel. Great experience. Would have been better if Skybar and the roofdeck pool was not closed. Would have been even better if someone would have told us ahead of time.

Modern, friendly, but would have liked the pool
The Mondrain was excellent. The decor is very modern and very clean. Everyone there was very helpful. I was ironing one of my shirts and the iron got some wax on it. One of the staff was there minutes after I called and cleaned up my shirt within 30 minutes. The pool was under renovation, so they lost points for that. I would have liked to have seen the LA scenery. Also, they nickel and dime you a bit. Every little additional thing is at least 6 bucks and the help was a bit needy. That's probably OK for the rich people that this place is geared for, but tough for a business person on a budget. All in all it was excellent. I would stay there again, but would wait until the pool is back in service.

The hotel itself is beautiful. Looks great... BUT... the room was REALLY small..... Staff was nice and location was great... The only thing that didn't meet expectations was the fact that the room was a bit too small, and the lighting throughout the room (including bathroom...) was severely lacking...

Total LA Experience
Staff here was very friendly and welcoming. Did everything they could to make my stay better. The location was great taking into account that everything in LA is so spread out. Skybar is awesome for a night out with friends but the prices are a little high but the views from the pool make it worth it.

I worked all day, each day, it was nice to come back and be greeted by someone asking how my day was. The Hotel could not have been better, nothing missing. This trip was among the best I have taken.
