food location for me
The lighting was not good. Lamps were hard to turn on/off. The hotel was showing wear and tear and was almost shabby in certain areas. The whole room needed to be freshened up. The bath tub had some signs of rust. The reception area was often vacant. Coffee was not always replenished-there were no lids for cups. Door keys did not work well. Shower head made water pressure weak. The sink in the bathroom was too small.

Nice Hotel for the Money
The hotel was within walking distance of restaurants and other hotels and clubs. The room was clean and comfortable but could use a bit updating in the bathrooms. All in all the staff was polite and curteous and the room was quite nicely sized. There was a desk, a refrigerator, ironing board and iron. Just about anything you might need. An in room safe was also available in a spacious closet.

If you want a great breakfast and have a car or don't mind a short taxi ride, go to Joan's on Third. Awesome breakfast and deli! Also check out the Chateau Marmount just a bit down the street for lunch or drinks.

Grafton on Sunset
Good overall - rude check-in desk staff!! Otherwise, great hotel and great location. Hopefully my experinece with the front desk staff was a fluke, but I've heard otherwise.

The hotel has a fantastic situation in West Hollywood, so its perfect for people who want to enjoy the night in L.A. The swimming pool is wonderfull, and we could use it until 12 pm. The rooms are big and clean, really a pleasant surprise. The parking costs $28 for a whole day. The only problem was that at 2:00 am we could here some party noise from the room besides ours. I really would recommend it.

Great location for the price
My teen age daughter and I went for a long weekend to ck out colleges in LA. This hotel location was fantastic! It is a fun place for a teenager, except for the large Photos over the bed. Comfortable beds, clean rooms and nice bathrooms with loads of fresh big white towels. Compt. ice tea in the lobby, Sunday NYT, We loved sitting at the pool and the people that ran the place were wonderful, very helpful. I highly recommend, my only neg. was the parking, very expensive, right down the road was a over night lot for a lot less.

pretty nice for the price
This hotel is not perfect by any means, the required valet charge is a bit of a rip off, and the valet service is not that great, however, the rooms are nice, the pool is nice, and it is a great value, great location on Sunset Strip. Not a bad little boutique hotel.
