In LA on a business trip and just need a clean comfortable room in Hollywood as I had a dinner there. Staff was great. Hotel is lovely inside though the room was a little cold and I could hear people milling around outside my window (which backed onto the hollywood hills) around midnight.

Noisy week !
I was at the Hotel the week of their First Year Anniversary: parties on the roof every night until 1:00 AM !!! I would have liked to know it before locking my reservation. When you need to go to bed with your hear plugs because the hotel is hosting parties every night.... there is a problem !

Andaz - made me feel like a star!
This hotel really goes the extra mile to make you feel important. There is no check in desk, instead someone approaches you as soon as you walk in the door to check you in immediately. They offer a complimentary glass of wine in the trendy lobby. Non alcoholic drinks and all snacks in the mini-bar were complimentary. I'm a long-time business travelor and I've never seen that before. It was a nice way to make guests feel appreciated. Even though there was action all around me, my room was very quiet and relaxing. I hope I get to stay here again[...]!

There are two great (and very famous) comedy clubs, The Laugh Factory and The comedy Store, right across the street. The House of Blues is also directly across the street. I had a great time!

Frequent Traveler with a Dog
Great location, super modern, loved it!
I come out to LA once a month for business and have tried various West Hollywood hotels. This is my favorite and will be staying there again. I brought my teacup poodle and they were very kind about it. Free wifi that was not slow or full of ads and pop-ups, huge room, modern, super clean. I loved the lobby area and how they had a table with laptops making reception very approachable, it reminded me of the Apple store. Right on the strip near food, clubs, shopping, and unlike most SoCal folks I was able to walk everywhere. Only downside is I had a street facing room and there was street noise so if that bothers you, make sure to request a room towards the back.

Long walk from hotel
I walked to Beverly Center from the hotel which was about a mile down La Cienega. Stopped in at D.O.G. and bought some cute little outfits for my dog. Lots of little shops, restaurants, etc in various price ranges along that path.

One of the best hotels on sunset
The check in was seamless we were greeted at the door and offered a glass of wine while checking in. The roof top pool is fabulous great view of the city. Beds and sheets are comfortable. the experience was very nice and the staff was friendly and profesional. I will stay here again.
