Nice hotel for the value
The price was right for this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Judging by the other hotels listed in in this area, this seemed like one of the nicest ones.

Very welcoming, friendly and clean!!
Was visiting family in nearby Exeter, so the hotel was well located. The quality of the rooms (bedding, decor and towels were very clean and enjoyable!!). The front desk staff was friendly, yet very professional. My only compliant was I couldn't locate the in-room dining menu one night - It wasn't in the hotel binder. I found it the following morning on the table by the window. Loved how close the hotel is to main roads, as well as downtown restaurants and boutiques. Visalia is lovely!!! The Marriott was wonder!!

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
Don't plan on shopping at downtown Visalia's cute boutiques on Sunday -They are all closed on Sunday. The restaurants are, however open on Sunday so at least you can have a good meal in town!

Well maintained. Professional staff.
It was our wedding night so we stayed at a local, nice hotel prior to the honeymoon. Everything was fine but the room was next to a service elevator. Not too noisy though. Could not check out from the room (television). Had to check out at the front desk.

Great location
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Directed to some great restraunts in town which were all within walking distance. Rooms very comfortable and great beds to relax in after a hard day. Bartender could pour a little better drink for the price.

Great price for location to downtown.
Close to old downtown for eating, shopping and walking distance to see a concert at the Fox Theatre all at a very reasonable rate.

Nicely apointed on at 1st look
Well appointed in good location. Room price was a good value. But $3 for a 10oz bottle of water left in your room is price gouging. The water should be complimentary in a Marriott. Poor marketing. Some MBA yuppie has got their head stuck where the sun don't shine.
