Worth the price.
When I arrived which was at about 11:30 am or so. The room was already ready. I checked in quick and everything went smoothly. It was super convenient right off the freeway. Lots of parking. Fridge and Microwave in room. Right around fast food and if you have kids will make a perfect walk to a skate ring or even a Chuck E Cheese which is one block away. Only negative thing is that they do not provide shampoo so I had to go to a local store and buy some.

Motel 6 Visalia
It was a terrible experience for our employee that I had sent. He arrive very late as this was a working day for him. Had reservation in hand and our business credit card numbers etc. All documents were what we felt he needed. He was turned away because he could not produce the business credit card... How would you feel at 11:30 at night and no place to stay and in a strange town. We felt the clerk could have resolved this the next morning and could have had a little compassion. Needless to say he went down the street where they graciouly took care of him at another motel. this young man will never ever stay at a Motel 6 again.. and we may not either.

bed was uncomfortable, tv remote had dead batteries, staff was calling us and knocking on the door by 11am to kick us out because they wanted to go home. Worst customer service i have ever recieved at a hotel.

Convenient location, nice accomodation.
The hotel was conveniently located off of the freeway, making it easy to access everything in Visalia. As my trip was to se someone in the hospital, I wasn't in a position to explore the city, but the hotel was tidy, well kept, with a friendly staff. Quiet rooms, even though it was close to the highway. The only negative was that some of the rooms had an odd smell from the air conditioner/heater.

The freeway will take you everywhere in this town, and the on/off ramps are everywhere. It's the fastest way to get around.

Roach Motel' bathroom smelled like urine
Avoid like the plague. I will be reporting this place to the chamber of commerce unless I get my money back...

best location.
Overall the hotel is ok.it's right off 198 fwy which is the gateway to Sequoia's from hotel to the gate 40mins drive.Very windy road when you get up the mountains. Somewhat noisy outside, but quiet inside the room when door is properly shut. hotel is good for budget travelers.

hotel is located on noble ave. which is a one way street. there is a chinese restaurant and Indian restaurant nearby. on Akers ave. there plenty of restaurants. but closes early. there's Denny's right off Akers and they are open 24hrs.
