never recommend again
Recommended this hotel to family and it's easy access to freeways. Recently remodeled and looks great for a Holiday Inn. Now here is the problem Saturday evening there were teenagers at a party with crying hysterics in the lobby shouting and general drama. The bar was filled with a cliental I would not want near my family. Tattooed shirtless men roaming the lobby with baggy pants hanging past there back end. Talked with hotel staff at the desk and they agreed but that is was this way every Saturday night. Spoke to security and they stated unless holiday inn changes this is the ay it is. I saw so many nice families overwhelmed by the chaos and drama of the lobby, bar and restaurant. Would never recommend again to anyone until holiday inn takes steps to handle their over the edge downtown L.A type crowd.

Great location
I was placed in a nice room on the second floor however it was facing a major highway and I could hear the traffic. The king bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. I would stay here again only if I could get a room not facing the highway.

The hotel is standard for what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. The real plus is that the hotel is adjacent to a large park perfect for taking the kids out for some play time

Better than average Holiday Inn
This is the nicest Holiday Inn I've stayed at. Very nice property with classy restaurant and separate bar. The room was attractive and the beds were very comfortable with two types of pillows. The only complaint I have is that we showered late in the morning and the water never was truly hot, only lukewarm. I typically need a hot shower to get my day started so this was disappointing.

Not too bad
HOliday Inn usual, the rooms just have a ok but old smell to them. Food was awful in cafe.. Not much around there and about a 5 mile drive to get to center. Staff were very friendly and courteous.

Second Mini Honeymoon
Hotel was clean, and room was a nice size and clean. Lounge was nice and service was good. Some of the staff were a little unfriendly and cold. Food selection was ok, but could do with prices being a little more reasonable. Food was just good, but over priced. Elevator button not working, didn't know if elevator was coming. Inside elevator top paneling was missing wires and electrical panel was visible. That made it kind of scary.

I was pleasantly surprised.
We were celebrating our first anniversary. The hotel has room service so we didn't have to leave if we didn't want to, but it was also close to places to eat. The rooms were not what I expected but they were still nice.

Excellent location
we were there for two nights as we were in SF to go sight-seeing. It was the best place to be because it was away from all the traffic and it was only minutes away from all the local tourists spots.

The Run Around
First of all, when you book a room on Orbitz the hotel tries to stick you with their worst rooms. We were first given a room with a view that overlooked the air conditioning units & roof. When we complained they gave us a tiny room where the king size bed took up all the space. Finally, the third room was decent. The other point is that we were traveling with a small 7-pound dog. Their website says "pets OK" but says nothing about the $25/night charge for them. If we had known this we would not have booked a room here.
