Nice hotel, promises kept, good value.
I stayed for two nights with my teenage son during a local soccer tournament in Hanford. The hotel is very nice, but you ... will need to drive a short distance to anything else (Starbucks, fast food, downtown Visalia). The hotel is clean, the staff is nice, and the free breakfast (served 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.) is more than adequate. I recommend this hotel to anyone, but suggest you ask for a room that does not face the highway; the traffic noise is very noticeable in the late evening.

Rosa's Italian Restaurant is a winner. We attended a soccer team dinner at Rosa's Italian Restaurant in downtown Visalia. There were 30 plus persons (parents and players) in our group. The restaurant was ready for us (tables set up in a semi-private room) when we showed up. The food was excellent and served family style. As soon as one container of pasta or bread or salad or pizza was empty, it was replaced by a full one. Beverages were refilled without asking. In about one hour we had completed our meal. Rosa's is a short walk from several downtown Visalia hotels.

Excellent hotel
We went to the Sequoia Park, it was pretty close by. The breakfast was a bit more than just continental, good variety. They ... even had to go breakfast bags if you are in a hurry(or a good snack or lunch for the park). The room was big and so was the bathroom. Everything was very clean and the bed was super comfortable.
