Poor quality for the ranking it got

Let's see where to begin. First room that I was given I couldn't get into because the door wouldn't open. The FD person said I needed to push harder to open the door handle or it would automatically lock up again. I tried numerous times with no result. She gave me an upgraded room after this thatsmelled musty and of cigarette smoke even though room was a "non smoking' room. The towels are thin, rough on the skin, and smallish...very poor quality. The room had coffee in it, but no coffee maker. To end my bad experience, I left on the last day to find that a guest had either thrown up on my car or had thrown their breakfast on my car. Either way, it was a fitting capper to the stay and seems to fit the hotel's customer base.

Ramada Vallejo

We booked this room for a Napa winery tour. We arrived very early, prior to leaving on our wine tour. The staff was very helpful and allowed us to check in early. The room was average, a little dated and worn, but I had read the reviews and expected as much. The bed was comfortable and had plenty of blankets and pillows. The A/C in our room didn't work well so the room was pretty stuffy during the night. We had other couples in our party and they did not have A/C issues in their rooms. All three of the rooms varied in furniture and decore, so I think they are in the process of refurbishing rooms. The hotel has a nice pool/spa area, though we didn't use it. The continental breakfast was generous. It included make-your-own belgian waffles, oatmeal, cereal, toast, bagels, boiled eggs, fruit, danish, coffee, milk and juice. The hotel is within walking distance of several chain restaurants and a movie theater. The hotel definitely served it's purpose for us. Overall, it wasn't the nicest hotel, but we have certainly stayed in worse.

Value was it

Was surprised about the quality of a Ramada Inn. Staff was ok to friendly, but the room was not worth the stay. The headboard fell off the wall and the sheets had stains on them. Not sure i would stay here again.

Danger

Do not reccommend this place to anyone. Where do I start? Upon checking in I was given a hand written receipt as the printer was broken. As I pulled the rental car around to the back the broken down fence had signs that read "Not responsible for theft or damage" (comforting) Upon entering my room I was shocked to see the room did not match the pictures the hotel displayed on the advertisement. The carpets were stained, ripped, and old. The bed had clean sheets, I think, but they were old and there was no comforter. Probably a good thing. The sink was stained and the toilet needed two flushes every time. The shower went from hot to cold and the fridge was on a board thing that made it hard to open and close. I sat in a chair that the back was broken and I nearly fell on the floor. Continental breakfast consisted of stale rolls bagels no cream cheese or cream cheese no begals depending on the day. The lights in the breakfast area flickered on and off all day long. Good coffee though! The last day an employee yelled because an elderly guest had dropped some of his cereal and he, being scarred by the employee promised to clean it up. WOW! After complaining to the cooperation I was told the GM would call me back,.....That never happened. I am taking up the stay with Ramada and we will see what happens! Take this off your list of habitable stays!!!

Meh

This hotel is perfect if you just need a moderately conmfy bed, clean room with no frills at a decent price. Vallejo isn't the fanciest of towns (mostly working class blue collar with some rough spots) and this hotel felt safe. The parking lot was really run down so we were a little worried about the truck but nothing happened. We didn't use the pool but the kids that did seemed to like it. Basically it was a pretty good value for Vallejo. Nothing fancy but neither was the price! Oh, the TV remote didn't work.

Go to the Dead Fish for crab. A little pricey but worth it for the view. It's in Crockett.

Expected a lil better

We were not looking for something fancy or anything but this motel was not good. The evening guest staff were 2 girls that seemed like they didnt want to be there and were in no hurry to help customers. The bathroom in our room was dirty and the bed was so uncomfortable. I was very disappointed. I would have rather paid a little more for a better hotel. If we ever come back to go to six flags we will not be staying here!

Huge Smashed Spider on Wall

The trickle of water from the shower turned from hot to cold so many times while taking an ohhh soooo short shower... A huge dead daddy long legs smashed on the wall right beside the headboard... two very long hairs dangling from the lampshade just as you enter... and a room deposit of $150 (staff said $100) on credit card - who ever heard of that in a hotel in the 1st place! Never ever stay there again! Staff at front desk did say "sorry"
