We made reservations for two nights. The credit card machine was broken so we had to pay with cash.
A processing error made it so they cleaned out our rooms after day one and my ipad was missing when we got our stuff back.
They threw out all our
food.
there was a leek in the room.
There were needles in the pool.
The cops busted someone at 8 in the morning.
A loud beeping noise kept us up all night.
There was a family obviously living there as they were looking for apartment everyday on the balcony.
The front desk clerk, Rosa Linda told me my ipad was gone because I didn't pay.
Seriously.

Thin walls... need ear plugs
Motel 6 should offer ear plugs at check-in! The walls are so thin. I had to listen to the drama unfolding in the room next door: a man and two women talking all night. It wasn't a wild party; just 3 older people talking. But at night the piercing,
loud voice of one of the women went straight through the wall. In addition, they had a dog that barked every 20 minutes. I am not sure if dogs were allowed at Motel 6 (I should check that next time I book a hotel). I called the front desk at 1:30AM and the employee was courteous. She said she will send the security to talk to them. He stopped by within 10 minutes and the gentleman in the room apologized and told the security they will keep it down. I still heard the remaining of their stories but with less piercing voices until I fell asleep. At 6:30AM I woke up because one of the women was crying and yelling at the man (it sounded like a hangover case). They left at 7:30AM just when I had to leave bed and shower to go to a conference. I saved few bucks at Motel 6 but I only slept 4.5 hours. Lesson learned.
