Pretty Cool lodging
I have a good time there. Overall I enjoyed my stay at the Best Western. Room was clean staff person was very helpful when I checked in. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Good staff helped us get into our room...since cold weather, it seemed, disabled our card-keys without some tricky jiggling and swiping. But, maids could keep a keener eye out for shower drains that are very slooooooow, due to huge hair-balls apparently. We just remedied that ourselves, though. Room amenities were fine and the price was right (compared to extreme over-pricing of neighboring motels) - it's only Turlock, for goodness' sake - not the south of France!

Not a bad place to stay for the night
The room was clean but had a noticeable cigarette smell. The pool was clean but not heated and by the first of October was too cold to use. The wireless internet and breakfast were big pluses and made the stay a good value.

Didn't have time or need to take advantage of food or swimming facilities, but they looked fine! Otherwise, everything was very neat and adequately furnished...The spa-tub nozzles looked rusty and decided not to blow anything out of them into the tub :(

Good value
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was courteous. Breakfast was pretty good, though it could have had some more fresh fruit options. Pool was clean but not heated.

Super picky person
The good, the bad, and the really ugly
First,the entrance door was extremely hard to open and we had to have help from the front desk to get it open. This problem continued each time we went out and back in. Second, the clock was not plugged in and we had to pull the bed out from the wall to find the outlet. In doing this we found old french fries behind the nightstand. Also there was a piece of plastic trash under the airconditioner The beds were comfortable and clean and the continental breakfast was ok.

will never stay here again
In town for a family gathering (funeral) & had usually stayed here. It is a generally convenient location near the highway. Negative review based upon 3 things. 1. Room toilet/refirgerator were semifunctioning and required guest repairs (not the staff, the guest). 2. Breakfast room attendant had a very bad cold/bronchitis type cough. She was hacking, coughing w/o covering mouth, and wheezing every 15 seconds. Not only was this unappetizing but completely a public health threat. 3. General shabbiness of hotel & understaffed nature- there seems to be a policy at this hotel to try to get by with a minimal (1) onsite night manager from 7pm onwards. This is probably the high traffic time (folks coming back from dinner or checking in).

Overnight on the way to SanFransisco
Close to major shopping mall. Close to gas. No inhouse laundry. Clean room, very helpful staff.
