We were charged a daily resort fee. This fee was not on our original confirmation email we paid for the stay in advance and no fee was indicated. We then saw the added fee on our charge card after our stay

Terrible outdated owner condos

Would not recommend Wed, Oct 14, 2015
These condos are owned by owners. This was not a hotel. No air conditioning at all. Dirty room, carpet needs to be replaced, overall place needs to be upgraded. Very outdated and dingy. Not a 3 star category. Very misleading pictures. This place was a dump, more like a motel 1 star or 2.

North Star is a shining star

Would recommend Fri, Sep 25, 2015
This hotel is beautiful. The one bedroom suite was perfect. The full kitchen was really a full kitchen. The views are incredible. The onsite shops and restaurants are centrally located and easily accessible. The gondola up the mountain is a great way to see the area and access the great hiking and bike trails. This location is some what central. It is easy to get to Kings Beach and to Squaw Valley. I would recommend this hotel. Kyle at the front desk did an awesome job of laying out the property and all it has to offer. We had a great stay at the Northstar resort.

Northstar Lodging

Would recommend Tue, Aug 25, 2015
Traveled to Northstar to downhill mountain bike and stayed in one of the many condos near the base area. The room was very cozy and had everything you need to prepare your own meals. The only complaint I had was having to walk uphill each day to get my bike and get on the lifts. The description was vague as to how close the lodging was to the base and after having traveled there I would consider staying somewhere a little closer next time. Check-in/check-out was easy but the staff was not accommodating when we asked to stay 3 hours past check-out so my wife would have somewhere to relax while I finished my day on the bike trails. There was hardly anyone in the complex so I did not believe them when the reason was someone checking-in to our unit that same day.

Amazing Family trip

Would recommend Thu, Jul 2, 2015
My family and I LOVE coming up to Northstar in the summer! This was our second annual trip and we plan on coming up every year around this time. We just love the outdoor feel up here, and the amenities are awesome! Every year it's just a chance for my family and I to get away from the busyness of life in the city, to quiet all the noise, and just enjoy some great family time together.
