Everything was great. The food is however way over priced and not real good. I did use the hot stone spa and was nice.

Comfortable stay

Would recommend Tue, Nov 10, 2015
I'm not sure if it was worth what we paid but it was definitely the most comfortable hotel we've stayed at on our SoCal trips so far. Staff was extremely friendly as well. Not much of a balcony but it was very nice to have. Only recommendations would be to add outlets by the mirror outside the bathroom so there's more room for people to get ready for the day. And a better ventilation system for the bathroom where you don't have to open the door to get relief from the steamy bathroom. It'd be fine with family but with friends/acquaintances, it's a little different.

My girlfriend and I wanted a relaxing hotel to end our weekend in LA area and this was just the perfect place. If you're into the oriental experience, they have an amazing Japanese style deep baths in all the rooms that just takes the stress away as well as amazing restaurants nearby.

love this hotel

Would recommend Tue, Aug 11, 2015
DId a lot of research into which hotels to stay in the Los Angeles area. Hotel Miyako Hybrid had the most positive reviews by far. I had high expectations and was not disappointed. Firstly, there is free parking which is key since you need a car vacation to LA. The location is a bit not-downtown since its in Torrance, but do you really want to be downtown LA? Miyako is right next to Mitsuya Market which has awesome tasty Japanese places to eat. About the hotel itself, i had no complaints. Check in/ Check out finished within seconds. The decor of the place is excellent. The room is completely spotless with an empty refrigerator to store drinks and snacks and leftovers from Mitsuya market. The bed is very comfortable, i am very picky about that. The shower is Japanese style, meaning there is a showerhead and also a handheld showerhead, giving you options. Of course there is a bathtub as well, if you need to relax in the tub. The hotel even provides bath crystals of some sort which i did not use. Wifi is free and fast. Air condition is good. Tv is good. All of this for a reasonable price, much cheaper than Mariott Hotel or some other run of the mill overpriced hotel in the downtown area. I just really had no complaints. I'm not one to write reviews, but Miyako Hybrid truly deserves the accolades it receives.
