The good: Courteous staff. Good rate. Nice Pool. The bad: Coffee grind found in bathroom sink when we checked in. Roomed smelled like smoke. Would recommend this hotel for the price. But they need to CLEAN up their rooms a bit more.

OK......BUT.......
HOTEL was fine however the ONE day in my life I had to sleep in housekeeping was POUNDING on the door at 8:00am wanting to clean. Once up I couldnt get back to sleep. Blankets on bed were minimal. brrrr. Otherwise no other problems. It was clean and fine for the price we paid. We stayed here because it was close to what we need to be at the next day....but overall area a block or two away is not so nice.

Met all my expectations and then some
Hotel was clean and efficient with easy access on and off the freeway. Receptionist was extremely pleasant and helpful. Fist night stay was very quiet. However, on second night children started arriving with their parents for a major competition of some sort in the local area. Children running up and down the halls and shouting woke my wife and me the next morning. Next time we will request the top floor.

Good place to stay
Quick check in and check out. The Hotel was in a weird location, but near where we had to take care of buisness. The staff gave me a map that was very helpful in finding great places to eat and shop!

Overall nice
The hotel itself was very nice, the drawbacks being it's location...it is a pretty far trip to the beach (although the highway it sits on will eventually take you to it),and there are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance. The area doesnt feel unsafe but it is mostly industrial/business oriented.

Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Torran
Overall, hotel was nice, just off of the interstate, and rooms were kept up well. Had a breakfast buffet but you had to pay 13.00 for it.
