The Lodge at Tiburon

This motel is located in the charming little seaside village of Tiburon, which is very close to San Francisco and other wonderful sights. The motel is just a lovely block long stroll to the Ferry to take you there. Within steps of the motel there are lovely walks along the San Francisco Bay with spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge and downtown San Francisco. This is a motel that has been updated in modern decor. They are very pet friendly, although I was surprised with a non-refundable $75 pet fee. Appreciated the free parking, however. Not sure why I was assigned to a disabled accessible room, with only the bed and a desk chair to sit in. Very few TV channels and very hard to operate TV remote control. Almost no counter space in bath, and lighting not sufficient for women to apply makeup. Luxurious outdoor restaurant and bar seating was filled with happy revelers. Staff very helpful and kind. All in all, this is one of the TOP places to stay in the San Francisco Bay Area with your dog!

Great room, outdoor fireplaces & bar lets you stay in or go out

My wife and I decided to take our kids (5 and 7) on a trip to Muir Woods and then spend the night in the area to make it a little more special. The Tiburon Inn was the perfect spot and we all had a wonderful time. It's not fancy or anything, but the location is great, the Tiburon Tavern is outstanding and the kids loved the fire pits sprinkled around the property at night. And there's a heated pool! Would recommend it for anyone looking for a casual, reasonably priced getaway that can serve as home base for exploring the many attractions of Marin County.

Altough the Inn is in a good location,the amenities were below average The restaurant was not acceptable.The menu was not up to what you expect in a inn of this type.The room was very small for this price range compared to other hotels.All in all we were expecting much more for our twentieth wedding anniversary.

We enjoyed this hotel for our 6th Wedding Anniversary getaway, but we were disappointed that the walls were paper thin. We were woken up early in the morning by some other guest who sounded like they were doing jumping jacks above our room! Other than the noise, it was a great hotel. Good location, close to the water and great restaurants.

Beautifull lobby and entrance way. Beautiful pool area. The rest of the place was under construction. The stairs down from our room forced us to navigate around a drywall gate that had about 3 inches of the pointed end of a drywall screw aimed right at my hip. Very unpleasant. The room was drab but comfortable. Very nice bed.

I took my friend from Texas to Angel Island then broused Tiburon...we check into the Lodge and popped open a bottle of wine and sat on the lovely deck next to the fireplace and caught up on life!!! I was worried there would be mustly smells since you are very close to the bay...NOPE!! I will bring my husband next time:)

The rooms and room service was great. The gounds have lots of fireplaces to keep its guests cosy. Free internet terminals but the soft ware a little out of date. The one draw back is the noise. Your next room neighbors are silent, but you can hear everything from the guests above you - their walking, getting into bed, even whether it is a man or woman talking. I would stay on the third floor next time.

My girlfriend and I stayed in Tiburon for two nights on vacation. The room was very nice, the bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly. We were comped two free cocktails since our room was 30 minutes behind and the restaurant on site was delicious. Waiters there also very friendly and a delicious and cheap happy hour menu! Great stay with nice fireplaces all around and a pool and hot tub too. Would return in a heartbeat, and you can't beat the view of SF from across the bay!

This is our 4th stay at the Lodge at Tiburon. Excellent location, friendly staff and great rooms. We also have just drove over to have dinner at this location.
