Extended Stay America - Temecula - Wine Country

We stayed for two nights, will never stay @ Extended Stay again! Bathroom smelled of urine, key card failed twice both times had to go down to lobby from third floor to fix key card. Tried to use hair dryer in the room began to smoke and shut-off. In the bathroom they only gave you two towels and 1 soap, for two people to use. And to top off the experience the place allows large dogs who bark at guests in the hallways and from rooms. They call it "Extended Stay" the name should be changed to Stay Away Motel! When I asked to speak to the manager the girl at the desk said she would leave a message to the manager, we were never contacted. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

My wife and I traveled to Temecula for our anniversary with lots of activities planned, so hotel was not our primary concern. However, I was disappointed to learn upon getting to our room that it was a smoking room even though I had requested non-smoking. The best they could do was change our room to an available handicapped room (still smoking) that didn't get a lot of use. It did have less of an apparent smoke smell, but was still evident.

I stayed here after a wedding at the temecula wineries. I wouldn't recommend it. The room looked like a college dorm room and my bf and I got bug bites.

I had a family emergency that cause me to fly out from the east coast and provide a room for my brother and they were very helpful in working with my, and very understanding.

Stayed for New Year's Eve, just for a quick romantic evening, but the room is really better for Business related use. Bathrooms small and not conducive to romantic use. The room had all the typical stuff in a mini-suite, and that part was ok. Should NOT have to pay additional charges for internet. Internet is a basic hotel "need" in this age. Charge a bit more for the rooms, instead of gouging the customer, in my opinion.

I didn't care for this hotel from the moment I walked in and came into contact with the unfriendly staff. We were only given one key to the room, they said that's all they had. When we walked into the room it was a lot smaller than what we had imagined an extended stay place would have. I checked the cupboards to make sure that there were enough dishes and there weren't, only 2 of everything including utensils, and not enough stuff to stay comfortably and be able to cook for myself, my husband and our 4 year old. The microwave smelled, they gave no shampoo or conditioner and no dish soap or dish scrubbers. We had 15 channels, just local, 4 ESPNs, and 4 spanish channels plus showtime which wasn't good at all. The remote didn't work (I know, not a big thing but a needed convience if I'm paying) so we called down to the front desk right away, they told us we weren't using it right, we called 2 more times that day (we know how to work a remote) and we called down the next morning and they still insisted we were using it wrong even though it wouldn't work at all and they someone would be right up, 3 hours later we just left and bought our own universal remote. This is not a home away from home, it had no pool, nothing special about it at all, I will never stay there again, I would rather go to a cheap motel!

Check in was very friendly. Unable to get ahold of front desk by phone between 8-9 PM. Answering service answered twice and sent them a message. Food left in freezer from previous people.
