Terrible

The highlights of the Tahoe Vistana Inn are the friendly staff and the Grills that are scattered a round the place for gests to cook on. the pool is clean and the hot tub is hot. The Bad: NO A/C. How can you have a hotel with No A/C? The internet dosent work. No HDTV. The rooms must have looked great in the 70s over all for $90 a night on a week day i feel completely ripped off. Dont stay here.

Trip at the Lake

We did not spend much time in our room, but it was okay to just lie our heads to sleep in. The towels were thin and rough, so they could update those. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good place to stay if you don't want to spend a lot of money

We choose this motel because it was not overpriced and we were looking for a place to stay on the labor day weekend The motel is old but the staff is very friendly. Bottom line: Good place to stay if you want to enjoy Lake Tahoe without spending a lot of money..

Tahoe Vistana

While in Tahoe we visited shops and resturants. The Tahoe Vistana was in a nice area that was central to areas we vistited. The facility was ok but the staff was more than helpful with information about the area. I enjoyed my stay and would use the Tahoe Vistana again.

Great Service, great management

We both did a lot of sight seeing, around the lake. Went to Virginia City. Really enjoyed the trees and lake-just beautiful. Management was very helpfull and suggested sights to see. Room was very clean, could use DVD sets with more cable (a suggestion). We both thank you very much. Best wishes Esther Amaya and Donald Pope

quiet stay

not close to anything. If you are going to Tahoe for things to do,this is not the place to stay. They do have a beach accross the road but it's a good walk. Nice people but an old resort that has seen it;s better days.

Really nice owners at the Motel

The owner was very nice and helpful. The room was okay, but as mentioned on another review the curtains did not close all the way. The beach across the street is really nice, sandy and clean.

Dining tip: Not Applicable

Well, in a way distance is applicable, we could not find a place for breakfast in either direction. We ended up at the golf course and the food was good and plentiful---- too plentiful, a little pricey
