Ski couple
Great location
Close to shopping and a very nice restaurant behind the inn, that we ate at both nights that we stayed there. Easy place to relax and not have to drive in heavy snow storms in the evenings.

Comfortable stay
Our stay was great, the only problem was at check in . Evidently there was a change in the way Orbitz notified the hotel of our reservations.

the worst place
no cable so we can not watch tv first day.microwave not working.after storm nobody clened parking so we have to stay until after noon in room and wait them to clea snow so we can pull out car.room was so felty .carpet was fuul of dirts.no dvd player in room.

unexpected
Don't let the outside look fool you. really nice room and clean. I and my girlfriend were kind disappointing when we saw the outside of the hotel. However, the inside may amazes you.

Surprised by the Quality
I stayed at this hotel New Years Eve with two of my friends and after moving here from the Tahoe Inn, I must say we were pleasantly surprised. I picked this hotel because it was one of the cheapest places to stay on NYE, so I expected some dirty, run-down shack. Instead, the Tahoe City Inn had really nice rooms, a helpful staff, and a continental breakfast. Not to mention the jacuzzi tub in our room! I would definitely recommend this to any travelers in the Tahoe City area!
