Poor Air Conditioning, Otherwise met our needs
The location is perfect as it is right in the middle of the central area in Tahoe City and right across from the Lake. However the fact that the room's air conditioning did not work was a HUGE DOWNSIDE! We stayed here right after labor day and even when the temperature dropped down to the 60's outside at night, it was absolutely sweltering in the room and the small fan they provided sounded like a jet engine and didn't do much to cool things down. We liked that they offered free internet and breakfast, but I would have paid a little more for a room that was more comfortable.

Room was clean and roomy enough for two. The heater was on high but the air it was blowing was chilly. We needed a room after a long day of driving and this one filled the bill. The breakfast was generous and we parked right outside the door of our room. We able to walk everywhere we wanted to go from this motel located right across the road from Lake Tahoe. Room included microwave and mini-fridge.

Great view and location
We had a tower room which afforded us a great view of Lake Tahoe. It was centrally located to local restaurants. The room was comfortably appointed with a table and chairs, and it was nice to have a microwave, fridge and coffemaker in the room. The free breakfast was lovely, with multiple cereals (cold and packets of oatmeal), choices of juices, milk, coffee and tea, pastries, toast, bagels with different spreads, waffles and french toast, fresh fruit and yogurt. The only problem was road noise, because as it is just opposite the street from the Lake, it is on the main thoroughfare.
