Personal

Requested a non smoking. I ended up with a smoking. I found cockroaches on the wall. The outdated A/C took awhile to cool the room. I dont think i will be back and i wont recommend this hotel to others. I found an old soap in bathtub.

Not 3 stars

This hotel was clean. They served a healthy breakfast each day. It was quiet. The location is very good for silicon valley business. It is older and dated, especially evident in the bathroom. I would say this is a two star location.

Disappointing Stay

I was very disappointed in this location and very surprised at the generous star rating offered for this particular location. When I arrived, I was charged an additional charge to stay on the 1st floor due to the fact that my husband was unable to climb the second story stairs. There was no elevator and the property was very old and there were stains in the carpet, that was by the way very old and unraveling. The door to the room did not shut all the way and the towel rack in the bathroom was loose and almost fell out of the wall. The laundry room only had one washer and two dryers and one of the dryers did not emit hot air. I will never stay at this location again.

OK, but not great.

Staff was friendly, no complaints. The room was a little nasty. Carpet had dark black stains on it, there was a big brown stain in the tub (looked like chewing tobacco) and the ceiling was missing some of the stucco showing black underneath (looked like mold, but couldn't really tell). They need to replace the carpet and update the room.

Simple hotel

The hotel is relatively close to the freeway, restaurants and a movie theater, which is convenient. The rooms have a bed, bathroom and TV, which is all I look for in a hotel room, so it was sufficient.

Good Value / Great Location

I was attending a conference at Cisco and the location was great. Most of the other attendees paid 2x to 3x the rate to stay in the "name" hotels in San Jose and had lengthy commutes. Older hotel, but with some fix ups this place could have great potential
