Bathroom was dirty, and the bed sheets had stains on them

For the price the hotel is doing its best to accomodate the customers need. I would recommend this hotel if paying more is anissue.

Constantly had problems with the room key. Their cleaning staff only provide the barest supply they can ... e.g. it seems that because they saw I have a bottle of body wash, they won't replenish their bar soap, which I still use to wash some things. I was also left with the impression that they may not be changing the linens because on the last day, I mentioned to the cleaning lady that it (yesterday) was my last day and left a tip for her in the room and she asked me if I cleaned and tidied up my room and that does she need to change the linens ,,, I told her that she needs to check for herself and that it would be best to change linens for the next guest.

Hotel is located near the 101 and the airport in south San Francisco. You do not hear the traffic or airplanes, but the floors creak, the walls are thin. The rooms were painted by a novice. Coffee maker did not work. Towels smell like bleach, but is full of hair. The carpet turns white socks black. The bathroom was dirty, mold observed in the grout lines. The microwave and mid size refridgerator work well.

Great experience. very courteous staff and professional touch in all aspects of my stay there. The location is also perfect and relevant for businees trips as well as pleasure and leisure travels. Fast connection to downtown SFO and other nearby bay area cities. In order to ensure a better consumers' satisfaction, it is of great value to consider adjoining a fully separate and convenient cafeteria.

it was the cheapest hotel near the airport that offered a free airport shuttle and "breakfast." Needless to say, you get what you pay for. The staff was very nice and the room was.....

I usually have low expectations when getting some place cheap just for a stay over. Given some of the reviews, I expected to have some problem or another. However, the shuttle showed up (at 1 am), the desk was fast and friendly (both getting in and out the next day), the room was clean, nothing was broken, everything worked (microwave, TV, wireless internet). Yes, they had cheap shampoo (I bring my own) and the free breakfast is quite meager, but I did not expect a real breakfast here. But definitely served my needs of getting from the airport, reasonable room to crash for the night, and then to the BART station for my meetings downtown the next day.

Not happy with hotel after looking the place over staff still would not refund my money asked manager to call never called me back . So guess you could say I payed not to stay at this Howard Johnson.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was average. It was a good value as I spent little time at the motel.
